DAY 206: SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2020: OUR LAST SATURDAY AT THE RESORT

Up at 6:30 for a long run before we went to the fire arms safety class. It is something Tom wanted me to do, so we went. .  A few exercises followed after the run.
By 8;30, we were ready to leave.

I LIKE THIS ONE: I AM SURE I HAVE DONE IT BEFORE

The class was very interesting. The instructor reminded me of Nate R. He had many subtle  side stories and words that made us chuckle. The topics of course, are serious ones, he wasn't making light of them, but he was keeping it real.
Afterwards, we shot at targets. Pretty well for someone who has never shot anything more than a bow and arrow and swimming starter's pistol.
All new to me. Of course, Tom did super, as he should.

Next, we went to Detwilers to buy what I need to make our Cinco De Mayo celebration on Zoom with my sisters Tuesday. marguerites a must. Tom wanted original flavor so I passed on the strawberry lime. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

I had a long chat with Joan in between her packing. What a project! Thinking about being on a boat and preparing to head home by car. Whew! Overwhelming, I am sure.

We connected with Guy by text, and my parents by phone. This afternoon flew by.

At 4, I watched mass with Father Grant: I so appreciate what he is doing.

FB friends have kept in touch for which I am soooo happy. Great to continually connect with Karl, Debbie and Lucia!!! They help keep life more normal, if that is possible.

Judy and Michael enjoyed dinner on their deck. I love the fact that HomeTown Tavern is actually doing take out now. Fabulous.
GREAT PHOTOS, GUYS. WEATHER LOOKS BEAUTIFUL
