DAY 90 and 91: TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MARCH 30 and 31

FOR DAYS WE HAVE STAYED PRETTY FAER AWAY FROM PEOPLE
We have been outdoors sitting far apart, not wanting to contract any illnesses. Virtually every one has. Many people have already left Long Key. What a fast winter.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE PHOTOS OF JUDY AND ME:  FINISH FOR A GUINNESS RACE

SUSAN AND I WALKED / RAN THE BRIDGE EVERY DAY TOGETHER APART LOL. NOW SHE HAS LEFT

Very little time to play these days. Lots of cleaning and straightening and inventorying of supplies occurred these past 4 days' A few short walks to the pool to read. Let us not forget lots of laundry especially linens. I felt I would use the less people time to get all this done before we leave for Buffalo.

The new fitness center here is great. I have been going in early, no one there. Plenty of sanitizing wipe dispensers to be used before and after. The equipment is good stuff, life fitness. I have been alone every time. My other workouts have been o'in the RV with Zoom classes and recorded ones previously held.

Low key meaning to ourselves but not unbusy. Is that really a word? Or should I say non busy? I don't know?

CHAN SENT PHOTOS OF JOSEPH PRACTICING BASKETBALL MOVES WITH DAD. IT
WAS A. VIDEO SO CLARITY IS POOR.

Zumba this morning was at Sylvias. We saw a rainbow. As usual, people are respectul of other's spa e. I am way in the back on the right.

At least we got things done.We have also been riding bikes just before sunst, a cooler prettier time of day.

DAY 90: MONDAY MARCH 29, 2021: HOW CAN IT BE THE END OF MARCH ALREADY

An early walk eith Susan this morning, our next to the last walk. Tomorrow is our last walk or run. It was sooo hot today we walked out toward Grassy Key but ran back to Long Mey soooo hot!
We had a bit of a rest before going to Zumba and Toning. We had very little shade and breeze but did our best. How Sylvia teaches un the heat is beyond me. Even my 2 frozen cooling towels around my neck lasted less than 5 minutes and they had been frozen.

Pickleball was next. I was able to play 3 games before the teams broke up with the heat. Most are leaving this week. At least I will have a few people still willing to play when we return from Buffalo.

After brunch, shower time. We were hoping to kayak. It was ready to go but Tom was expecting a call from the finance company sose had to wait. It was not such a bad wait, though. During that time Leslie called and she wants to buy NH. She said she can make it work. Yikes. We are hoping that will happen quickly. That was good news.

TWO BIRTHDAY CUTIES

CUTE, RICK! AND SO TRUE

Matt connected usto a new landscaper. He contacted us and we are all set up for April.
Michael called and both families have been preapproved should a home become available.
I spoke with mom's house keeper. With the dollars her workers are receiving from the government, Wendy said no obe wants to work. I felt so vadly for her. She said all she did was cry last Friday.  How will her business survive? Very sad.

I couldn't get mom on the phone and nearly called Shirley to have her check mom.s phone. It was off the hook. She hadn't seen it. I did manage to get her on the cellphone after awhile.

At 7 we went to the tiki island for sunset 🌇. We not only saw sunset but also moon rise. So beautiful. We stayed out with Stephanie and Mike until 10. They live not far from Todd and Em. We hope to see them in NY at some point.

DAY 89: SATURDAY/ SUNDAY, MARCH. 27/28: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE AND STELLA

SATURDAY:  I walked with Susan, no class with Angie due to her inabiliyto get on Zoom, then Pickleball. It was so windy. The ball would start where i wanted it and end up being blown everywhere. My serves were pretty good in spite of that.
Tom and I spent the entire afternoon trying to fill out forms for our pre approvement application. Msny calls with Judy and Michael trying to sonehow figure this out. Ilona took out the mystery and answered questions but we have a lot of downloadinv to do.
I finished the reservations for our trip west. We texted dates with Janet in NM and made reservations at Vineyard RV Park for our trip to see the Ostiguys. The Twin Cove Resort had no open spots. Someone will call if an opening occurs. The Vineyards does look like a great place with kayaks, paddleboards, and other things.
At 3:30 I left for Church. It is Palm Sunday tomorrow. Mass was beautiful.

Pretty girl, Muriel Shirt looks familiar! Pretty girl, pretty hair!

MORE SUNDAY TO COME.

An unbelievable treat tonight. We rode our bikes to the cansl and saw this beautiful manatee swimming alone in the canal. She saw us and literall cameto the edge. We know she wanted fresh water. She was nearly perfect. We saw only one small spot where she might have been injured. She was pretty big but i dont tjhink she was a full grown cow.
She made the funniest faces. Her tail was huge.

I wish I had had some lettuce to feed her.

DAY88: FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2021: GOOD FRIDAY ALL THE WAY AROUND

Susan and I ran the bridge. Sunrise was very cloudy. We made the run a bit shorter. Zumba was at 9 and Toning at 10. Next pickleball.
There are less and less people. Many people have gone already. Susan leaving Wednesday. Ill miss our runs on the bridge.

GREAT PHOTOS THE OSTIGUYS SHARED. WHAT A BLAST!

TODD SENT A NEW PHOTO OF THE CHERUB

GREAT VIEW OF BOOT KEY HARBOR FROM BURDINES

THE WILD CREW AT BURDINES

OUR DEAR FRIEND, AMALIA, WAS WORKING TODAY. A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF MYC, SHE KNOWS US ALL. INCREDIBLE GIRL.

Tom and I had a busy day. Se spent hours creating our route from Long Key to Arizona, to New Mexico ( to see Janet and Bob, and finally to Texas to see the kids.
Each day will work, if the RV cooperates eith our plans. Hoping all we have to do is feed Tomfoolery Diesel fuel and the Blue Stuff as I call it, Def, and keep,on moving.

Then we worked on the new house possibilities with Ilona. Lots to look at and do but our hands are basically tied since the developers have not released the land, have not given the prices of the homes, and have not released the prices of the land. Ilona said this is hsppening all over. So many people our age want to live here. If it is meant to ve, it will be!

I wanted to call Linda today and that didnt happen , but I will.
Sharon and Steph have been busy and having fun. We will get together before we know it. We have a LzoT to talk about.

Geri and Joan texted after lunch. Joan and Gordon may have sold their boat today. So happy for them. A new chapter will begin. Do thry want an RV? LOL.

No joke from Rick today.

Tom and I spoke to Diane who lost her husband. An invitation to visit was given. We hope she is doing as best as can be expected. Tom understanss. We had a good chat.

And the day has come to an end.

DAY 87: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2021: DINNER WITH SYLVIA AND SUSAN

At 6, Angie did a lower body strenghthening workout. Very good!
Next, 7 am bridge walk with Susan. Was hotter today, but we did it. We are determined now. She has not many days left and we are trying to run every day she is still here.
THANKS CHAN AND JOE FOR SHARING THIS FAMILY PHOTO IN THE PARK

Coffee came next. I found a delicious Blueberry flavored EOC: EIGHT O'CLOCK COFFEE. It was so good. Next Tom and I took a ride to KW and stopped at Winn Dixie for wine. Yes, just wine. 19 Crimex was on sale for nearly half off. Perfect!

When we returned, it was a whirlwind. Clothes to wash, phone calls to make, a shower and wash my hair. I coukdnt wait. All this was before heading to Sylvia and Kens for dinner.

I brought a chaccutery board to Sylvia and Ken's for us to share. Looked so pretty and colorful with meets, cheeses, nuts, vegetables, and fruit. I like making those.

We watched sunset from her deck. So beautiful.

FUTURE FIREMAN, LEO

WE SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEO AT LUNCHTIME AND DID FACETIME DURING DINNER
He is full of enthusiasm, kindness, love , and inquisitiveness. What a joy to be around.

Susan and I ran the bridge, did Zumba then played Pickleball.
At 1 Tom and I played Corn Hole with the crew here. At least we made it to round too.

I spent hours trying to set up my patient portal for Urgent Care where we had our covid tests. It didnt work. No one could help us set it up. What tge people at the clinic said: The portal  was set up so quickly and they had no training. And it rarelybworks well. Ugh. I wasted all day trying¡

After Facetime with Leo and Stella, I went to Sylvias Line dance class. Quite fun. Bill came iver to smoke a cigar with Tom
