DAY 125: CINCO DE MAYO AND A FULL DAY IT WAS

After doing Sherry's class and a run around the park, David and Mary Margaret picked us up at 9.
They have  shown us sooo much. More than we would have ever seen on our ow. What a day.
First stop was the Mission. Words can't describe the feeling of the Native Americans there. Their warm and desire to share with us their beautiful church mission, school, Rosary garden , and prayer steps was genuine.

Very interesting place with many little shops to buy objects of art. I bought a pottery pie dish to make tamali pie.
It is a quiet place to walk around, see local artists at work, and listen to music.

TOM FOUND A CIGAR SHOP. DAVID SAT BY. MM AND I WENT TO THE BAKERY FOR A HUGE APPLE 🥧 PIE
NOW WE CONTRIBUTED TO DINNER WITH PETE, JEN, JULIETTE, VINCENT AND ROMAN

100 DEGREES, BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IT DID NOT FEEL AS WARM AS THAT SOUNDS-NEAR 0 HUMIDITY

Dinner with the family was great. Conversation centered around the kids and their knowledge of math. Lors of problems were being thrown out there by all! Kids did 😊 great!
