CROSSING THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE

We arrived at 81 PALMS RV RESORT at 1:45 pm. We now have a two hour difference from the East Coast. The staff was very friendly. The place is simple but clean and easy to get in. There was a small but very old fitness center. I decided to make cauliflower soup using Geri's recipe. Then Geri and I spoke for a very long time!
I caught up with my nephew, Matt and checked in with mom and dad.
I caught up on phone calls and emails. I called Carolyn to express our condolences about Marty. We read the obituary in the Bristol Phoenix. There were times we spent many hours with them- from boat rudes to dressing in Togas at the Marathon Yacht Club, Marty was a character who was hard to forget. He and Carolyn volunteered in my 3rd grade class. The kids called him Professor. Rest in Peace, Marty.

Tomorrow. we see Janet and Bob in Albuquerque!
