DAY 140+ IT IS SATURDAY, MAY 22 , WE A RE HEADING TO MEMPHIS. TN

Can't make this stuff up. We are doing all this. We have to be insane, but let us call it adventurous!
Friday , sadly, we left our kids in Flower Mound, Tx and headed for Arkansas.
MAKING A PUZZLE WITH GRANDPA AND JOSEPH

JOSEPH AND I 'LET' GRANDPA PUT IN THE LAST PIECE
WE WORKED ON THIS FOR A WEEK
CELEBRATING JOES RUN WITH HIS RUNNING CLUB AT ON TAP
BTW, JOSEPH HAD A ROOT BEER FLOAT

JOSEPH IS ON THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
JOSEPH HAS WONDERFUL ROLE MODELS

HIS TEACHERS ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE

We were very fortunate to be able to watch Morgan's last string concert for the year via Facebook.

MORGAN AT HER SPRING STRING CONCERT.
It was so good.
And , we listened as we sat at On Tap.

WE GOT HUGS MUTIPLE TIMES PER DAY FROM THE KIDS
THESE WERE SAYING 'See You Soon' We hope!

The enjoyment ended and the craziness began. We stopped at a truck stop to print out the many pages the Conklin Reynolds Associates sent us for the sale of the NH condo. Sad to sell that but we do not  use it enough. But, our friend Leslie is buying it so, we are happy a out that! Then we had to find a Notary Puplic! On the highway!??
Fortunately for us we stopped at a rest area near Texakana , Texas. A very helpful woman there looked up the number to the Hope, Arkansas town hall. A woman there named Amber told us to head there now and she would notarize our papers as we sign! What luck. We brought the beast through downtown and parked by the town hall. Boy, did we look out of place.
Amber sealed everything and made us a copy. She wouldn't take anything for it other than  the $10 to record it in her book showing she signed and placed her seal on paperwork. It is a book that proves her notarizing in case she is ever called to court. We signed that she did notarize for us. It covers everyone 's butts. Fine by me/. We said we would pay the favor forward. She made our day. Then we hightailed it to G and M rv park to park the beast and find the nearest post office to overnight this packet to NH. At 3:45, the PO closed at 4, we were filling out the overnight envelope to send.
I do not believe it will actually get there over night, but as long as it arrives before Tuesday, I am  good with that.
Another "thing" done!
We spent a quiet night at G and M. I finally got to read my book for a few hours. We went to bed early for a 5:30 alarm.

At 5:30 we were up and by 6:15 am we were on the road. We didnt want to wake everyone with our generator, so we went to the Loves around the corner for a coffee.
Now on to Nashville.

We passed the Louisiana Purchase State Park. There is so much history in our country. I want to absorb it all. We crossed the mighty Mississippi. Because a bridge was out of service do to disrepair, unsafe. I just hoped the new route didn't bring us to a bridge we couldn't pass under because our coach gps is set for our height, weight, length and width.
THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI

A DIFFERENT BRIDGE TAKES US OVER: 40 EAST BRIDGE IS CLOSED PERMANENTLY

A COMPLETELY GLASS HOUSE BOAT WITH A SIDE SLIP FOR THE 40+ SAILBOAT
The TV showing the building of this was mesmerizing.

We arrived at Grande Ole at 2:00 pm. We were going to unhitch the car and go,to,find some music but the music came to us. Saturday night dinner was Country Fried Steak with veggies. Music was by David Thain and Friends: Christy and Myrna.
They were great!.

FABULOUS: NASHVILLE CAME TO US. I sent photos to Morgan! She plays the violin. and this ms is such fun to listen to, it has
to be lots of fun to play. Go, Morgan. I am now facebook friends with Myrna. She records her events live.
My favorite song Neon Moon was played. We could have danced but Tom had returned to the rv for a few minutes.
They asked for harmonic  players. We wished Michael and Judy had been here.
Kevin and Shirley would have loved this too.

Grand Ole RV Resort is a place to revisit.
