DAY 118: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2020: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER IN LAW , JOEY. WE CELEBRATED YESTERDAY BUT TODAY IS THE DAY

A perfect running day with cool temp and brisk winds. As I ran, I saw the Pavement Pounders wearing jackers, hats, scarves, mittens- they haven’t been north in a while, I don’t think.

We received texts from Charlotte and Jessica. We are happy they got their Valentines in time.

AT SLOPPY JOES:
My photos from yesterday finally came through. Here we are celebrating Joey’s 60th birthday!

NOTICE BARBARA’S PHOTO BOMB-SHE AND HER FAMILY WERE A RIOT

PISTACHO SHOTS

Yesterday while visiting Jane and Joe in KW , Tom ate one of Joey’s birthday cookies made by Judy. She makes the best choc chip cookies in the world. Today Joey texted asking Judy for more. It was a funny back and forth text morning.

Great to hear from Joan and  Gordon. My sisters and I talked about the new shamp/cond they use. OÍ, a great product I used for the first time. I didn’t even need the straightener iron. Works so well.
looi

Joan and I match emojis. Makes sending texts fun.
Mm sounds fabulous at home recovering. We are so happy she is no longer in the hospital. Linda sounds great too.
Mass is at 5:00 today. So much to be grateful for.

At 12:30 we went to the weekly SATURDAY cookout. Great to see everyone out this brisk day. Most people ate later today which was good for us since we were late.

Our dryer is still not fixed. Ugh! We have spent so much on the labor hours. Tom looked up a new one- $550 and a new one would be here in 2 days (well maybe not in the Keys). I’m sure we have spent more than that already in parts and service. Ridiculous.
Running keeps me sane.

Today is Full Moon SATURDAY with a Beach Party at 5:00 on the beach. Last month, we didn’t attend. It was blowing a gale and misty. Let’s see what happens today.

On my way to church. Carol and Jeff called to ask us out to dinner . We chose the Wreck. Always good, but the best was our 3+hours of catching up.

TIME TOGETHER ALWAYS ENJOYABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY VISIT US  IN RI
