DAY 130: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2020: RED HATTERS LUNCHEON

I needed sleep today. Running had to be skipped. Sleeping was not good last night. I ended up getting up to read at 1:30 am. I could not sleep.

At 7:15, i went to step aerobics. That felt great considering it was my first exercise of the day. I then  rode my bike and prepared for tge Red hat Luncheon at Kcb.
I drove the ladies. we had a fun time laughing and enjoying each others company.

A FUN GIFT FOR EVERYONE

SWEET JOANNE ON THE LEFT

ALL BEAUTIFULLY WRAPPED: A KIND OF YANKEE SWAP

The ladies were lovely and so welcoming. when we returned, Carl and Marvin were sitting with Tom trying to solve why the golf cart kept losing power. ha! a battery check showed the batteries needed replacing-too worn to hold a charge.

A quick chat with Joan out life passing too quickly here. We hope to get together Sunday at Webb's house.

And, just to follow up,  still no

Renee, a neighbor came by and we chatted for an hour. She was a nurse in a Veterans Home in Michigan for 35 years before she retired. We had so much to talk about.

Later, I went for a walk to the library dropped off some books and picked up another.
i sat by the pool and took a chance to call MM. She sounds great. Two weeks out of the hospital now and sounding stronger every day. We had a fabulous talk and look forward to seeing her in Az when we get there in the spring.
