DAY 12: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2020: SHOULD WE PREP,FOR A STORM

I had to be up at 7. A run was a must in case i can not connect to Zoom or 426 Virtuals! After the run, I was able to do Jessica's Kettlebell and Cardio class from Sunday. As I did the class, I felt I was there doing the class with my sister, Jess , and the girls. Great class!

By 10, I was ready for breakfast. Dave's Bread French Toast was what I was craving. I added bananas, blueberries, and walnuts. Yummy!

BREAKFAST

HISTORY OF DAVE'S BREAD
Everyone deserves a second chance in life. And, the bread is healthy and delicious.

It is Thursday. Every Thursday and Friday I think of Shirley and Carol. I miss our Maj Jahn games followed by dinner with tbe boys. We had quite a routine this summer. Each of us tested our culinary skills or called for take out! Lol!

It was so hot and humid here, a shower felt great. I decided to 'paint'. I use that word moderately. I can't paint 🎨 but I try and it passes time helping me create something.

I  MADE A TRAY AND PAINTED SOME ROCKS

Linda and I chatted for a long time about education. I finished reading an article about how many school districts in Florida went from Common Core teaching to Standards based. I had to chat with someone about it. We always did Standard based and 👩‍💻 had much luck teaching so many kids successfully. It was worth all the work and planning. Linda and I were a good team. I asked about Paddy. Her grandson is adorable. I sent her the video of Leo. Grandkids truly are much of our conversations.

Today Stephanie, Sharon and I texted a lot about the ICW and traveling by boat. Oh, what wonderful, wonderful memories.

A PHOTO OF HOW CLOSE THE SHORE IS TO THE ICW IN GEORGIA.

I reminisced as I looked up places in my journals. I could spend all day doing that. Each place brings back a flood of memories after doing this trip 10 times.

Sharon and Paul made reservations at Isle of Hope Marina.  We hope to visit them one day by RV. Little bit difficult with our height, though. The trees in that area are so low and laddened with Spanish moss. What a spot!

I went to the Post Office and in our Box was a survey from NOAA, The Meteorological Center. It was quick regardibg how we receive weather updates. And, there $2 was wrapped in the envelope to be sure we would return the survey. Why wouldn't we? I told Todd about it and got info about the weekend tropical storm we are suppose to have.  He said in Buffalo the temps for the upcoming weekend are 60s-70's. We will be getting heavy rain. Lol!

TOM IN HIS MOST STRESSFUL MODE LOL

AN EVERYTHING PIZZA CREATION

Our Facetime Dinner with Claudia and Burt was 3 plus hours of laughs, stories, wine, dinner, and a cigar. Great to be able to see them.
When Tom started yawning, it was time to say good night!
