DAY 8: NOVEMBER 1, 2020: DEPARTING OCEAN BREEZ IN STUART. FLORIDA HEADING TO OUTDOOR RESORTS, LONG KEY, FLORIDA

It is a beautiful morning! We turned the clocks back last night. We awoke at 7:00am. No running or workout today, or right now anyway, 😩! My 426 Zoom with Jessica is at 8:00. We will be on the road during class. Hopefully, the class will be recorded and I can do it when we arrive in Long Key.

Judy called to ask if I was zooming Jessica's class. I certainly will be following the 426 Zoom classes as soon as I can be stationary ! 😆
Thanks, Judy!

Lots of photos today as we leave Stuart.

SO MANY NARROW ROUND ABOUTS. TOM MANUVERED BEAUTIFULLY

DRIVING OVER THE INDIAN RIVER

LEAVING OUR STUART FRIENDS BEHIND
I guess I accidentally  called John, butt dial. I am glad he checked in. We had a great 👍 time with friends last night. Cathie and Jared have a beautiful home on a canal with their 🤕 own boat 🚣‍♀️ to putz around in. What a spot for my paddleboard ! It was great to see the 3 of them and reminisce about all our travels on Narragansett Bay, Long Island Sound, Vineyard Sound, Nantucket, and more. Some of those trips had their own challenges but here we are talking about them. It was John and Lynne who prepared us for our first ICW trip. Mile by mile from Bristol Yacht Club to Marathon, Florida they guided us by chart and ICW Flip Chart. Then, off we went for the experience of a lifetime. We traveled thousands of miles south and north, 10 times.
I kept a blog each time . We will remember those trips and the people we met forever!

We miss Cathie and Jared who sold their home and boat ⛵️ north and now live full time in Stuart. Cathie taught Shirley, Carol, and me how to play MajJahn. Their names came up every week as we played that incredibly crazy 😜 game of rules. We made it into a weekly event to play then a plan for dinner with the boys. We were able to have a wonderful summer in spite of the virus that attacked so many people. We are fortunate for healthy family and friends.
I FOLLOWED MASS AT ST.MARYS AND MT CARMEL. I LOST CONNECTION TO ONE SO WATCHED HALF OF EACH. AT LEAST I GOT IN THE WHOLE MASS.

THANKS , STEPHANIE , FOR GREAT PHOTOS OF CHRIS RACING

OUR HOME AT OUTDOOR RESORTS FOR A FEW MONTHS

WE ARRIVED AT THE RESORT TO A TRUMP GOLF CART PARADE

Lots of great texts , calls, and photos sent made the ride to Long Key fast . Joan, Steph, Sharon, mom and dad, my sisters, geri and Michael kept my mind off of time. . Lots going on!
All was going well until we were 50 miles out. I have always hated those big pieces of rubber that fly off of truck tires. When we bought the Rv, we had inserts  put  into our coach tires so this would not happen. Those big 🕵️‍♀️ pieces of rubber are scary, especially while driving motor cycles.
So, this is how the RV looks now:

Tom couldnt stop, couldnt switch lnes, and couldn't move over. There was a lot of traffic. With the R. being so low, we are lucky it was not worse. Always something.

We arrived at Long Key around noon. Tom and I divided and conquered. He put together outside; I cleaned and organized inside.
Then, I worked out with the video of Kristen. Way to hot to run.

One week of travel, and we reached our destination. I texted family to let them know we had arrived. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I know one thing, it will begin with a run at 6:30 am.

Already missing everyone at 🏠 home!
