I do miss those sunrises on the boat that are clear and crisp. The smell of the sea and the calm are uplifting. That is when it is so wonderful to wake up early. Then, of course, you have those mornings when the sea, Neptune, is angry and the wind, Aeolus, God of the wind , is not happy and lets off steam. When both are having a bad day, we all have a bad sea day. And, that is a good day to avoid traveling by water.
This photo popped up on my phone of another Newport Bridge walk we did.
HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE. NOT ANY MORE.....
GREAT MEMORIES, THOUGH.
Zumba ended at noon. After breakfast and a shower, I read nearly all day. Well, I did go to the post office and did clothes while I read but reading was the task of the day. No news, no tv, just a good 📖 book from the book store in Warren.
The owner has books by lots of local authors. perfect.
Texting with Sharon and Stephanie had me laughing. Touching base with Geri was good. Calls with Michael, Joan, and Mom filled us in on home.
We are hoping to see Paul and Sharon in Mebourne.
So sorry we missed Joan and Geri this trip. Damn virus!
This morning I did a 6 am zoom class at 426. I noted every one had masks 🎠on during class. Kristen said it is a new rule. As long as they stay open. It is worth it. Great class by Ali.
Dinner was easy and yummy 😋. The boneless grilled ribs were perfectly marinated, then grilled. So tender. Bet I can't find those again.
We watched the Crown 🤴 on Netflix and called it a day. Tom did a lot of cleaning out of the bins today.
Me, I read! (but I said that already).
