DAY 119: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2020: FRANK AND DEAN SHOW TONIGHT; ICE CREAM SOCIAL THIS AFTERNOON; SQUARE DANCING AT 12:30

I slept a bit longer today before running. Texts from Jane, JUDY, Joan and GERI came in. Lol... my phone kept dinging. Everyone was up at 7 am. Lol. As I opened the door, we had a bit of very very Strange Keys Rain. It was raining where I was standing but not 10 feet away on my car. No, it wasn’t a bird. There was actually a small dark cloud to the left of the Rv, not the right side  where my car was. I decided not to bring my phone, just in case the rain came down heavily. It didn’t. But, it was very windy with a temp of 72 degrees. Nice for running!

WE HAVE TO BELIEVE THIS!

How can my mother be turning 90 years old. She certainly doesn’t look her age. Beautiful photos. Thank you to Jane‘s artist who created this amazing invitation that captures Mom at different ages. We will be heading home on the 27th to celebrate her special day! May she enjoy many more birthdays in good health, peace, and love.

                                                     HAPPY 90th BIRTHDAY, MOM!

We went to the square dance lesson. It was fun. We have so much to learn. Joe, the caller, and all the members make us feel so welcome. They are so patient with us.

Mm is now able to sed texts. Hearing from her is so wonderful. Linda too is having a better day.
Todd took the family skiing. What memories they are making. He was 4 the first time we took him skiing. It was  a Great Day! Now he has great days for his children.

        GREAT FAMILY SKIING FOLDERS

At 4:30 we left for the Elks Club where we have a reservation for the Frank and Dean Show. It starts at 5:30 but the organizer said 100 people would be there so get their early. We have tickets for GERI and Bill but don’t know if the will make it.

DAY 77: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2019: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LITTLE BROTHER BUTCH

When we start traveling again, the blog will be more interesting. Right now it’s more diary like. I’m only sharing with a few of our closest people. And, if you don’t want to read it, there is always that delete option—quick and easy— gone! Lol!

Today is my brother‘s 65th birthday, a mile stone for him especially since he too has chosen to retire from the school district. His real estate will keep him busy, though! Happy Birthday!!

At 7, Judy and I at the gym for Ali’s , as usual, engaging class. I’ll feel it tomorrow when unreturned for more of her. Tom and I were alone at breakfast with JUDY and Michael away.
I decided I had had enough of this sinusitis and headed back to the Minute Clinic in Swansea. Now I have bronchitis as well but I am not tired and don’t feel sick. The wheezing is just driving me crazy. She said I wasn’t contagious. It’s not a cold. It’s my lungs.it has been a weak spot my whole life and why I have sprays.  Not the first time. Years ago I had it all the time. Don’t want that again. It was at its worst when I woke up, then better after I moved around.  Now, I have an asthma inhaler. It helped already.

Today we heard from Fran and Norm in NH. I really miss skiing with them. Tom misses them but not the cold and skiing. I love it and will get back there.  They are such fun to be with . We have had some interesting adventures together.

HAPPY TIMES WITH FRAN AND NORM

We made plans with Michelle and my parents to celebrate a New Years Lunch at Not Your Average Joe’s with the girls. Hopefully the weather will be good and we can celebrate with everyone. Should I buy horns and hats? Lol.

Em sent this Photo of Stella wearing the mini mouse dress with Minnie Mouse skiing. Cute!

                    MISS CUTIE

We  heard from JUDY— she arrived in MAINE. Heard from Jane—she arrived in Florida.

Jane V texted for New Years Eve plans. We aren’t planning anything big for the night—early start Wednesday morning.

I went to 4:00 mass , and we stayed in for the night. Left over pizza and calzone baked to crispy perfection add a salad, and that was dinner.
Just a night of hanging out and watching tv. We haven’t done that in a while.
