DAY 8: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2019: LAY DAY IN JACKSONVILLE

The day began with the sun shining, then by 10, clouds but a perfect 74 degrees. Tom returned to Savannah to retrieve our surge protector that he left behind.
I love running outside but the campfires make it tough to breathe. I’m glad the fitness center has a treadmill.

As we enjoy our brunch, we watch adorable little ones playing on the playground and swimming in the pool. I think we have a great site. I took the photos before the kids arrived. It’s fun watching grandparents with their little ones. We were happy to talk to Leo and Stella yesterday. We miss all our grandkids. Iwans to be everywhere!

                AGAIN

There is a pool sized bounce pad which looks awesome but it temporarily not in operation. Leo and Stella had a blast on one of these in NH.

After cleaning up, I connected with John and Pam in Jacksonville . We will meet them for dinner tonight. Always wonderful to see Marathon YC friends.
We also checked in with Patty and Tom . We hope to see them on Long Key the day after Thanksgiving.

Football Sunday, so we watched on our outdoor TV with a temperature of 75 beautiful degrees here. I’m texting with the Girls who are doing the Walkabout in Warren on a perfect fall day!

       GINA‘S EMOJI. SO CUTE!
After watching some great games, we visited Pam and John at their home on Jacksonville. We sat by the pool and caught up on the past year. We drove by their yacht club and took a ride to Atlantic  Beach. An afternoon well spent. We went to The Local, a new restaurant Pam wanted to try,  for dinner. It was delicious. The company was superb.
Beautiful beach reminded me so much of Palm Coast.

Two girls enjoying Ë‹catch up  stories. So great to see Pam and John
