DAY 205: FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2020: AH, TODAY IS ALREADY MAY 1, MAY DAY

By 7:00 I was out running. It was like a crisp fall day...perfect. I feel kind of lost, LOL, knowing the fitness challenge is over, but, we know we are not going to stop. All those involved are incredibly dedicated to good health and fitness so no one is going to stop.

LOOK AT THESE TEXAS CUTIES. BIG SMILE! EVEN RHODY IS SMILING
He is happy to be with his best buddies. What a QUAD tgey make. Someone is going to miss his playmates when school starts again. Having a pool, being home with family,  friends to be with, and warm weather... perfect life.

WHEN WE RODE BIKES YESTERDAY, WE CAME TO THE RAILROAD CROSSING RED LIGHTS FLASHING. THE CSX 30 CAR TRAIN 🚞 WAS COMING. YES, WE WAITED.

After running, I watched mass with Father Grant. Then, I did Sherry's Barre class. Very small muscles used! whew.

After breakfast, Tom and I went for tour of the club house. It is beautiful with its dining room, meeting rooms, bar, library, lounge, and game room. The view is phenomenal.

INCREDIBLE PHOTOS FROM THE CLUB HOUSE

We took a long ride through a variety of home sites. It was a great day to ride, cool and breezy.

When we returned to the RV we were reading when Ron stopped over and chatted. I was on the phone with Joanne and Don Prince from Outdoor Resorts. Joanne fell and cracked her pelvis. Just awful. As we spoke, Craig stopped by to chat, a long chat. Today was the day everyone wanted to talk , I guess. People are ,missing their socialisation. . Even when we were at the clubhouse, all the staff  was there. Everyone wanted to talk: the house staff, the office staff, manager, general manager. I decided everyone is getting frustrated with being separated. We all talked but respected social distancing with masks. It has been nearly 2 months already. People need to converse.

Shirley called. We spoke for an hour. People need people.

Dinner was a delicious Pan Pizza.
Then we walked to the fire pit to sit with Ron and Sandy until the no seeums came out. Then it was time to sleep.

DAY 204: THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2020: THE LAST DAY OF THE 30 DAY 426 FITNESS CHALLENGE

At 6:30 I wanted to run but the rain was coming down in buckets and the thunderstorms were deafening. Ao, I went back to sleep for an hour.

At 7:30, I got up and did Ali's 100 Routine. By the time this routine is done, 700 exercises are done in 30 minutes. I really like this one and do it whenever I can. I love her little stories and comments as she goes theough the series of movements.

ALI S 100 FITNESS WORKOUT

At 9:00, Father Grant lead us in prayer with a beautiful mass. His stories are heartwarming. He told a story about his friends cat watching the mass on his computer. Of course, he gave many more details.

We caught up with Michael to catch up with news from home. Sounds like things are the same. The Gov is still keeping a lot closed. Sad that the Vets Home has so many cases of Covid 19. 😔. He , Judy and Jane are taking great care of mom and dad being sure they are safe with masks and gloves.  We miss them all.

Joan and I chatted. They are planning to leave earlier than expected. The weather the following week looks stormy and windy. So sad that a lovely winter comes down to the last week of packing and anxiety that comes with that . Thinking of driving home and stopping to sleep is scary with this virus. We hope we are near them so they may stay with us. That would be wonderful.
SHERRY tried  to do her Zoom class. It worked, then it didn't. So frustrating for her. I was very happy 😆 I had done Alis then the plan is to do Zumba toning at 11.

DAY 203: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2020: ZOOM GIRL NIGHT

6:30 alarm- yes! The weather was fairly cool, sunny and a light breeze. It was a good run.

For some reason, coffee was calling me early today. I must have run faster to get back for coffee. Lol! Then I realized I need to buy more. We use a lot of it. Tom rarely shopped with me at home, but now he wants to come.  I think 🤔 it is: a day out these days. Think about that, there is no where else to go. It is a ride and a short time out where wearing a mask, you actually see people. Even though there is very little conversing, there are many smiles and scooting out of people's way. It is comical and sad at the same time. We go to Detwilers. I am going to miss this grocery store /butcher shop/ seafood market when we get home. We get quality fresh meats and seafood for less.

I am glad I ran because Sherry's class couldn't happen . Her internet went down.
I did my own workout, then did Zumba with Melissa. It is all good. I just miss it. I know she did too.

 ZUMBA

JUST MY 426FITNESS CHALLENGE

After lunch, we went shopping. Got it done and came back.
It is late...I am tired. The rest of today's entry will be photos!

We took a ride to Marlow to see MERMAID. Hate to see her alone at the dock.

JOSEPH AT HOME IN TEXAS 😉 ENJOYING HOME SCHOOLING

JUST LOVE THESE PHOTOS
We had a long chat with Michael. Keeping up with home makes me less home sick.

FACETIME WITH MURIEL

MURIEL DID FT WITH US AND THE BUFFALO CREW. SHE READ THEM, AFTER THE FALL, THE STORY OF HUMPTY DUMPTY AFTER THE FALL....SO DARN CUTE.

FACETIME DINNER WITH THE CREW

A GREAT NIGHT OF LAUGHS AND WINE

DAY 202: TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2020: MAINTENANCE DAY FOR THE RV

6:30 the alarm blasted so I got up and went out. I saw Tory along the way and told her that if she friended me on FB she could see many exercise workouts. Then ; I continued my run.

At 9, Fathers Grant and Hawkins lifted our spirits with their mass.
VISIONS OF HOPE AND BETTER TIMES AHEAD

9:30 was Sherry's Cardio Blast . Tough as always, hurting so good. By 10: 15, I was ready for an egg and English muffin.

TOM'S BREAKFAST

TRICEP DIPS: OUCH
I is day 28 of the 426 Fitness Challenge. This has been such a quick month. I can't believe 28 days have passed since our 426 staff offered this challenge. Knowing I am doing this with the crew I exercise with at the gym and our trainers makes us all winners. We are keeping fit through this time of Pandemic.

THIS LITTLE FURRY CATAPILLAR CLIMBED ON MY MAT, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE

I used a stick to move him to the garden. Then I was about to do a push up and , yikes, there he was again. 😱!!
He is certainly a persistent critter.

11:00 Zumba Toning with Melissa- Excellent. I really enjoy using Zumba Toning Sticks on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

OU ZOOM ZUMBA CLASS

THANKS, MELISSA

At 12:30, we had a wonderful chat with Shirley and Kevin. It was great to hear their voices as they walked along the park/ docks in Sarasota. It is great to know that people are carefully and ✊ respectfully walking again, keeping distance but getting fresh air. We did not have enough time with them this year. We will have to wait until we return to Bristol. Safe travels, Shirley and Kevin.

At 12:45, we did a Facetime with Muriel. She read us her book , so cute. It was about what happened after Humpty Dumpty was put back together again.
He was still afraid of heights! 😆 Such a cute book!

AFTER THE FALL

READ BY MISS MURIEL

HUDSON WANTED TO GET SOME ATTENTION

Madison asked for our help! Yeah! We would love to 💕 .She is working on something for her guidance counselor. We cant believe she will be a senior next year. Time has flown. I remember that little one in my arms on TOMFOOLERY against the bulkhead and her falling asleep as we sailed. and now, she is all grown up and preparing for college. We gave her a list of adjectives that we believe describe her: independent, trustworthy, compassionate...
We didn't get to talk to Morgan. She was on one of her many long chats with Charlotte.  So happy 😁 they can connect all day between school work that is.

MICHELLE SENT A CUTE MOVIE OF MURIEL RIDING HER NEW BIKE: GO MURIEL!!

A SIGN MICHELLE FOUND: KIND OF TELLS THE WHOLE STORY
One of those should be put into a time capsule with an explanation! lol

At 7:00 I did Sherry Guts and Butts Class. 30 minutes of ouch! 😓 Lol!

Joseph, Charlotte, and Jess texted! Miss those kids with our trip to Texas canceled.

Todd called and again we talked for hours. Tomorrow we will set up a Zoom for Muriel to read to Stella and Leo. So darn cute!!
We need to do a zoom with everyone from Tx to RI to Fl. 😘 💋 😘

We walked to the 🔥 firepit. We met Ron and his wife, and John and Dorrie. We sat 6 feet apart and chatted. We hope to find another day to chat.
It was actually nice to speak with other people.

I realized I didnt talk to Joan today. She is working hard to pack for home! 😘

DAY 201: MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2020: A NEW WEEK BEGINS

At 6:30, I rose at the sound of the awful alarm. The sun was shining. The wind was light. The humidity very low, and the temperature 68 degrees. Perfect, perfect for running. I had planned to follow mass at 9, Pi yo with Sherry at 9:30, Zumba with Melissa at 11, and a bike ride with Tom at 1:00 through all the neighborhoods around us.

Mass at 9 was once again uplifting and positive. Many people responded to Fathers' mass and the hope he leaves us with each day.
Sherry's piyo class was cancelled today so I did Ali's 100 Challenge which when done results in a 700 movement exercise routine. .

ALI'S 100 WORKOUT:  A GREAT INTENSE BURN WORKOUT

Torrey brought over a beautiful lily plant. A florist she knows was giving them away for her to give people she knows. It was kind of her to bring us one.

                  VERY PRETTY

At 11: Zumba with Melissa. I was so happy she played my favorite songs and did my favorite steps.

          MELISSA ON ZOOM

BREAKFAST WAS A NEW RECIPE FROM YOU TUBE
" AN OMELETTE FRENCH TOAST BREAKFAST SANDWICH "

GREAT TO HEAR FROM LINDA WHO RECEIVED ONE OF MY THERAPY PAINTED CARDS, HAAAA

SHE IS LOOKING GREAT AND HEALING WELL

It was wonderful to hear from Joan. We are both resting easier knowing we each have an approximate date for heading back to RI. What a relief.
RI is looking better and better. We all love Florida but we have been here way too long.

Shirley called to check in. We are so happy she is with family in Annapolis. She sounds so good.

We had long conversations with Michael a few times today. all is well at home, but chilly. We talked about the nursing hones and the few Vets affected by the virus in the Veterans Home. Although deaths are few, even 1 is too many. We thank him for helping keep mom and dad safe.

Mike RHYTHM called regarding his friends Mike and Robin , whom we met in Marathon. They are looking to purchase an RV and asked for guidance. We spoke with Mike and Robin for an hour and offered to answer any questions we could as they think of them. We told them the three things Jann and Bill told us: Diesel engine, no bigger than 40 feet, one and a half baths. Those suggestions served us well. We also suggested they purchase the RV comparison book we bought. We would have sent them ours, but it is at home. The book helped us narrow down the brand we wanted and could afford getting the best value for our money. Mike and Robin had a Catalina 380 as we did now they want to switch to a land yacht.
We had a nice chat.

PHOTOS FROM OUR BIKE RIDE THROUGH THE HOME DEVELOPMENTS

THESE BIRDS MUST THINK THEIR IMAGES ARE MATES

DINNER : ALL INGREDIENTS FOR A PULLED PORK TACO 🌮 I GAVE HIM A WRAP TO CREATE

We texted with the Ostiguy's and Sullivan's. Everyone is doing well as can be expected. The kids miss their friends. Lol! So do we miss our family and friends. They are with their families and enjoy being home and sleeping late. I am sure the school work is harder at home than on school. We can't wait to see them all! 😘
