Day 192: Saturday, April 18, 2020:

An early run was a good idea. The atmosphere was warming up quickly.
A quick coffee followed, then a workout with Sherry.

Judy ready for 426 Sherry

Sherry ready to teach C ardio Barre/ Pilates

It was a great workout!

She has inspired us all.

After these workouts, I got back all the calories I burned off, LOL!

Bacon, sour dough French Toast, strawberries, blueberries, and almonds (and peanut butter)

Stella loves her dresses. Em sent these photos of her showing her cuteness. LOL.

Stella carries the unicorn from Auntie Jane everywhere

I was able to talk to Carol for an hour, and text with the 426 Rowing crew for an hour.
We are planning a virtual wine Bingo game for Sunday. Should be quite interesting.

This was followed by a call with mom and dad.

At noon, the skies opened , and the rain came down in buckets, and more, and more followed by wind and more rain. Add a bit of thunder and lightning.
We had an all out storm. Hate to say it, but we needed the rain.

Tom went to pick up our mail. This adorable photo was created by Muriel! Looks like we are happy 😃 and a volcano is erupting. I could be wrong.
Muriel always has a precious smile!!

A dreary late morning followed by a sunny afternoon and evening lead Tom outdoors to watch TV with a cigar.

I watched Fathers Grant and Hawkins . I love the feeling of hope with them and the less of despair.

Thank you, Father Grant

I think I have posted this more than once, but is a favorite of mine. Judy and I running in The Finish for A Guinness. I can only imagine that this race, held on the Sunday before Labor Day, will not be the same, if it is held at all. The very need cause is research for ALS. Hopefully, the race committee can establish maybe a virtual race so the donations will come in. They truly are a dedicated team.
One of my very young student teaches had the disease and visited me before he passed away. He was an amazing teacher.

The afternoon view of the lake. No white caps now!

So the Rowing Crew at 426 want to play booze bingo. ( Don't ask, I don't know, but I am going to find out, haaa).

Did I post this before? I am losing track ( or my mind).  4 years ago Judy and I did this Food Truck Race. Em and Todd were here so they came to see us finish! Leo was about 15 months old then.

It is now 5:00 pm, and I have no idea what tonight will bring?

At 6:30we watched Tonda and Joey as the did Tips for Bartenders, a fundraiser they created for people working in closed restaurants. It is inspiring how they have a Go Fund Me Page and are giving $300 to each server whose name is pulled out of a barrel. Good for them. Our family supports their efforts.

At 7 we took a bike ride. There are now 31 Rvs in our resort.

Joan A sent me this photo of Lindsey's backyard. It snowed today, April 18. 🤩.

I think it looks beautiful!

Joan texted to say they are making preparations to leave the Keys. This is all so surreal.
We all feel like Dorothy wanting to get home. Now!

Found this: What fun for Muriel, Leo, and Stella!
