DAY 199: SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 2020: PILATES AND BARRE BLEND WITH SHERRY

No running again today, ugh! We were not able to sleep. The rain, thunder and lightning began 4:00 am Friday morning and ended Saturday morning at 2:00 am. 22 hours, you read that right, 22 hours of torrential rains and storms. The fortunate thing here is, the drainage is outstanding. The roads and sites were clear, no puddles by 8:00 am. By 9:00 am I was able to put down my mat and do Sherry 's class outside. Wonderful! Fortunate !

BOTH JUDY AND JANE WERE IN CLASS. PRIOR TO CLASS THEY WALKED/ RAN TO WARREN BEACH: SO CALMING, I BET

After class, Tom and I went to Walgreens, The hardware store, Home Depot, and the Post office. Home Depot had one door set up for people to go in and tje opposite side of the store, people came out. It 👩‍💻 worked seemlessly and everyone was respectful of other People's space.

We returned and called it Brunch. Because I could not decide what to make, I made breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs with fresh basil and sharp cheddar and Maddy 's Banana Pancake recipe ( 2 eggs, a smashed banana beat together and nutmeg, I added cinnamon), blueberries, butter, and syrup.

OH, YES, DON'T FORGET THE SLICED ALMONDS

I then began the dinner plans: a casserole of hot andouille sausage, sweet potato chunks, red peppers, mushrooms, and Rotel Hot Tomatoes.
Add cheese and all set for later.

EASY ONE POT MEAL WITH WAY TOO MUCH LEFT OVER. WE NEED GUESTS

At 2, Tom and I went for a long bike ride past the marinas and land preserves. Such an idyllic area.

WE DO NOT KNOW THEM BUT THEY WERE HAVING A FAMILY BLAST: YES THEY DID SEE ALLIGATORS
The dad told them not to torment the alligators with the paddles.

A POWER CAT WE SAW AT THE MARINA

AN ALLIGATOR WE SAW FROM OUR DOCK

We formally met Tory and her husband Kevin on the dock viewing the baby alligator.  We chatted a long time . Finally met her after all this time seeing her. dog walking.

Our plan is to have cocktails with Joan , Gordon, Geri, and Bill at 6 pm.
