DAY 185: MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2020 A FRIGHTENINGLY WINDY NIGHT

I have to thank Debbie L and Lucia for their many I M Meassages, emails, texts, and FB posts. i appreciate hearing from them to know they are well and moving forward day by day getting through this. Thank you girls!!You are amazing.

SO TRUE! THANKS, CAROL AND JERRY

TALKED ABOUT THIS LAST NIGHT WITH SISTER JANE, AND JOAN THIS MORNING

People had routines. Now, many of fhose routines have been turned upside down.  People procrastinate not because they are really procrastinating but because they want to do something to do later.
The days run together. Not going to mass on Saturdays makes every day the same. I am happy about mass on line, though.

I used weights for an hour  instead of going for a run. I have run every day and wanted a change. Then, I did Zumba with Melissa for an hour. So, I got in my workout today.

GREAT JOB, MELISSA

THANKS TO ALI FOR COMBINATION WORKOUTS

Joan called. They had as much wind as we did. I was afraid for the portside of the RV and the cover to and the slide out. I was afraid the heavy wind would knock it off the track. Joan said they took down their aft boat canopy.
This wind was just horrible.

Jann texted concerning the heavy winds and rain they had in NC. So scary. Now we not only have to worry about traveling through areas with the virus but  also worry about the stormy weather we may encounter. As for Jann and Bill it was tornadoes. We had enough of those to fear last year.

MURIEL ON HER THIRD ZOOM MEETING

MURIEL AND LEMON GETTING TO REALOUD "GIRAFFE' S BIG PROBLEMS" TO US
I CAUGHT THAT THROWN KISS! THANKS, MURIEL, FOR READING TO US AND MAKING US PART OF YOUR DAY

THIS SHOWED UP ON MY FACEBOOK MEMORY: FABULOUS EASY RECIPE FROM CATHY: FROM RHYTHM 😍

It was a quiet afternoon: a lot of reading by the lake and a bit of card painting. Another book nearly finished.

I went for a walk to the dockhouse to pick up Tom's package. A man and woman, AJ  and Helen, went by in a car.
They asked how long we were here and how we liked . They are sailors and have an old Yinkley sailboat. Funny, they are looking for a Monk Trawler. Lol, that is what we sold to by the coach. We had a grand conversation for about 30 minutes, 10 feet apart. They have a house in Bradenton but want to leave their 5th wheel here as a stay-cation.  If we are still here when they arrive on May 1, we may be able to distant chat again. Felt good to speak to someone else. Ha!

Judy sent a recipe for kielbasa soup. It looks delicious. I need to buy the ingredients on my next trip to the grocery store (even though right now , I don't want to go yet)

Dinner was a repeat of last night. Might as well use up the leftovers.

Great to catch up with Texas grandkids. They love ❤️ being homebodies. Seeing them was wonderful. Everyone is getting through their work and still have time for exercising and keeping connected. We should have been with them last week. The virus screwed up everyone's plans.
