Day 193: Sunday, April 19, 2020: Cardio Blast with Sherry 9 am

6:45 am run was hot with no breeze. Today it should reach 90 degrees. Whew!

After some coffee, 9 am cardio blast with 426 Sherry. It is Day 19 of the challenge, so here we all are.

Judy, great job getting us in that photo

These were the Sumo Squats with a jump. This Cardio Circuit Blast as Sherry called it, went quickly.
3 sets of 3 exercises 3 times one minute each. The whole thing took 46 minutes of pure a sweat fest.
I was drenched. Again, I was outside in the shade but NO breeze.  Why do we torture ourselves?
Because we like the after glow of red cheeks!

Thanks, Sherry

As I was wondering what to make for breakfast, the rowing crew began talking about Monkey bread that Cindy was making, cinn rolls Lisa was making, and the farina Jane had with cinn. Cinn seemed to be the ingredient of the day. Someone said make cinn rolls from Bisquick. The recipe used to be on the box-not anymore. Judy and I looked it up and made them ourselves. I am still getting used to this convection oven. They were good because of the cream cheese. Lol.

The texts went back and firth for an hour. I got to know Cindy and Lisa from having tsught their kids. Such great families. Tess always wanted to be a teacher. I was happy when a friend of mine was looking for a new teacher at her school. Tess was the perfect match.

As we texted, I made the above which was supposed to be stew meat with mushrooms and onions. It has ended up: beef stew. But, that is 👌. I wanted to have dinner easy and ready so I wouldn't miss the Booze Bingo snd get to the party late! ha!

Our view

Our site...

At 2, Tom wanted to go to Office Depot. We put on the new washable masks Anna and Greg gave us and off we went with the hand sanitizer in my pocket. It was actually nice to get out for a ride.
When we returned, the rv smelled like a southern kitchen. It made Tom hungry but I told him to wait.

Time to read this book: The  Boy sent to me by Ali. It is quite the mystery.

At 7 we had a Facetime with Leo and Stella. Leo's request for a bedtime story was Going On Bear Hunt. Stellas was Good Night Moon. We added Going on a Lion Hunt. it is such fun to read with them. Their eyes were closing when we were done.

After a beef tip dinner and FT with the kids, the Rowing crew did Zoom with Jane V. We played Bingo from 8-9:30.

Later, Judy, Jane, Jane, and I planned a virtual dinner with the 8 of us. Judy will send the recipes.

Joan texted good night.

Fhe stew

Stella peeking!!! lol She is so darn funny!
