DAY 189: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2020: ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE

6:30 up to run and pick exercises to do for the 426 challenge. As I walked out the door, the hot tropical air hit me. Whew! 78 degrees with no breeze at 7:00 am. Can not imagine how hot it will be later. I did run anyway and came back as if I had showered. So hot!

I watched Father Grant at 9:00. I love his positive message of Hope and his shout out to Market Workers. He is so right! We are fortunate to have enough food, etc., as we work our way to healing our country.

  THANK YOU, FATHER GRANT

I did my challenge exercises and Tom did his Yoga with Mindy.

I read the Patch to see that Bristol P D is doing a special service to help kids celebrate their birthday in their homes with sirens and honked horns of police 👮‍♀️ 🚗 vehicles. What a great idea!
On Leo and Stella's birthday, 🔥 fire trucks went by their house with horns and 🚨. And, those kids love fire trucks . In the fall they visited fire stations in Bristol thanks to Assistant 🔥 Fire Chief Anthony!
               THANK YOU, BRISTOL PD

Those cards I painted are now in the mail to send a few good vibes to friends. The activity kept me busy. I only have one more shell project to finish– out of materials. Ha! I have only two more water color pages for painting cards. I don't have enough fun projects. I'm sure I will find something around here. I still have materials to make yummy 😋 chocolates but no one to give them too. We certainly don't need that many.

THANKS FOR ZUMBA, MELISSA

A long talk with Joan passed our time and felt better afterwards.

Tom and I donned masks, lots of hand sanitizer, and off we went to Detwhelers. This store is great. We could find everything we needed but no toilet paper. What are people doing with it all? We haven't needed it since we bought our last batch in Marathon. But, one day we will need it again.  These store has the best meats.

On the way, we tslked to Michael. We are happy they are all there for mom and dad.

When I returned, I sat by the water and read. I saw this beautiful flower and connected with Joan and Don to ask what kind of flower this is:

JOAN TOLD ME THIS IS A SOUTHERN MAGNOLIA: SO PERFECT

Dinner was easy: BLACK ANGUS BEEF FRANKS with chili, sweet onions, and horseradish sauce with spinach orzo. It was all good.

At 6:15, we had a Facetime with Leo and Stella. We read DO NOT OPEN THE COVER TO THIS BOOK. It was really cute. Then we read a PETE THE CAT BOOK. For a few minutes we were able to chat with Todd and Emily! 🤗
Stella and Leo each read us a book. I liked the weather one they read us together.

SO FOCUSED ON THIS CRAZY BOOK ABOUT A PIG WHO IS WRITING A BOOK

At 7, I decided to do a class with Sherry on Zoom. Judy and Melanie were on board. We waited. We found out later, Sherry wasn't feeling well. Tomorrow is her next class.
