DAY 41: MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2021: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER IN LAW JOEY

I could not run  today. The heavy air, high humidity, and my continued reaction to the Covid vaccine being the factors. I did go to Zumba, the Toning Class.  and played Pickleball. By then, I woke up and was fine the rest of the day. 

At 1, we returned to the Outdoor Sports Store to return and exchange Tom's broken fishing 🎣 pole. If he hadn't returned it, the customer service person said it would have rusted. So, now Tom can fish again. 

Next, we went grocery shopping. We now have enough food for weeks. We will only be in Daytona with Stephanie and Chris for 5 days. Well, we won't starve. I questioned the height of the tunnel to get i to Daytona. She said there  is room to get in . The spot is a steep hill, though. This is going to be creepy. 

We stopped at Dollar Tree. I never have enough for crafting...right?

When we were at Florida Boys watching the game, I told Tom we should have worn our Pirate costumes. I just got a look, no response. I think wearing Pirate, Buccaneer, costumes would be fun.

We stopped to pick up mail at the Long Key PO. Yeah, my shirt, medal, and a neck cooler we sent to me from The Key West 5K. The colors are great. What a great design, as busy and colorful as the people and homes in KW.

 It was great to chat with Joan for a while to catch up on boat life. Things are always in process of being repaired, repairs made, or ready to need repairs. The list never ends. 

Tonight I made and froze Chicken Enchiladas for us at the races. The refrigerator is packed. Tom worked on organizing the bins under the RV. We have all  day tomorrow after Pickleball. The Paddleboard is away for now. Our flags and solar light will stay here while we are away.
