THE BRUNCH CREW

WE SPENT TIME WITH BOLTS
Then we went to the track, heard the National Anthem Sung, ( and no one took a knee) , saw the Thunderbirds fly over, and heard a  junior chorale singing God Bless America! PERFECT START TO A RACE.... THEN A CRASH AND RAIN DELAY.

A 5 HOUR RAIN DELAY.
It was a crazy situation. We dont get Fox sports in the Keys so didnt think we got it here. We spenr nearly 90 minutes off and on looking at the ipad phone and computer. We tried to get the app. We tried logging in to different sites. Nithing.
We started watching a movie then called Dish to set up our Zip Code!
Would you believe we had the channel! We wasted time. We watched the making of Days of Thunder and many program fillets that were actually great regarding racing.

We noted the rain delay alerts on the  bottom of the screen. Then, the announcers came back to say they would start the race at 9. wow! fabulous.
We had  high hopes bur .
And now here we are. Track is dry. We are in the rv watching and with the windows open listening to the rumble.

BOOKENDS WATCHING THE  RACE

We were so comfortable watching and listening to outside that we didn't even walk over. We actually needed a boat anyway. The water at our bottom step i§ 4 inches deep. Yikes.

Tomorrow, new baby arrives! another little blessing. We are still awaiting the announcement of her name. So exciting. Our grandkids will have a sibling and otheres will gave a new cousin. Sweet!

ON THE 3rd LAP EVERYONE HELD UP 3 FINGERS IN MEMORY OF DALE EARNHARDT , SR WHO WAS KILLED AT THIS TRACK 20 YEARS AGO
