DAY 55: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2019: WORKING ON CHRISTMAS

Ignore spelling errors, etc. This is a blog, not a term paper.

After the 5am walk, I was ready to get some things done. I made Hershey Kiss Cookies and Buckeyes for Jane and Joe‘s party tomorrow.
Here is the platter I made. Chocolate and peanut butter, what could be better.

There were 2 pieces left: one of each cookie. Do you think someone in this house may eat those? Not a chance!

TWO LONELY COOKIES LEFT

Tom worked on reprogramming the RV gps. This one is very important since it tells when we are approaching a bridge and it’s height. It also alerts us to underpasses and tunnels which do not allow our propane tanks to pass. Finally, it is working. We aren’t even on the RV and we have things to fix .

WHAT NEXT? I decided to have a pedicure and paint my toes a purple/ blue. Me time! Kelly did a great job. And, I nearly fell asleep. The chair vibrating, my feet in warm water, the smoothing of the running valises —so relaxing.

PRETTY IN PURPLE

Why not. I always do red or pink. I had a hair appointment at 1:00, so I ran home to do more sorting and wrapping.
ANOTHER relaxing all about me!

MY HAIR FEELS SO SMOOTH AND STRAIGHT. THAT IS WHY I CANT CUT IT. I LOVE IT, ESPECIALLY when it’s like this.

When I returned home, I had time to wrap a bit, rewrite my list and check it twice. I feel I’m making progress.

At 5:30 we went to Paul and Sharons with Steph and Chris. What a great night of conversation, friends, and relaxation. We went to Bar 31. It has quite an eclectic menu both in Tapas and dinners. Truly enjoyable. We arrived at 6:30 and did not leave until after 9:30. Steph and Chris will be purchasing an RV. We are so happy for them. Adventures await us all.
It’s been a long perfect day. Tomorrow will be another.

A GREAT LITTLE BOOK. ..A PEACEFUL CALM WAY TO LIVE: BY THE SEA

The plan is to shop with JUDY and JANE on Monday so I needed to see what I need, or thinking I need.

I was able to text with Joan and Linda. They are both doing well in 80 degrees. Wish we were there to help them.
Sharon called about our dinner tonight. We will be trying the tapas restaurant on State Street for the first time. The. Menu looks great.

I‘m glad Carol was able to
