DAY 58: MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2019: GARDEN CITY SHOPPING DAY WITH JUDY AND JANE

Alli’S class was at 5:30 am. Challenging as ever! SHOWER at Janes and of to Christmas shop. Before i was going to Florida each year, we would weekend in NH, shop, eat, drink, and walk everywhere. Life changes. I miss those weekends but Tom hates being North in the cold snów and ICE.

We arrived in GARDEN City around 9:00, hungry after our 1 1/2 workout. Our first stop was Newport Creamery. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee all around and we were on our way. 

We were dressed in coats and gloves. Lots of Rain as we walkę in and out of stores in GARDEN City. The stores were probably empty because not many people wanted to brave the elements. At times the Rain came down in buckets. Didn’t stop us, though. We made trips back and forth to the car dropping off our treasures.

The stores were  empty and the staff READY to Please and ofier many Deals.

By 1 we were READY for lunch and Avios our choice. Arugula salad, a datę marguerita pizza, winę and we were happy. 

After lunch we shopped on the other side of the parking lot. Amazingly, we bought more gifts and nothing for ourselvesvwhich sometimes happens. 

By 3, we were done and decided to check out a few małl stores. That was short lived. We started for home stopping first at the Cigar shop and Barrington Books. We LOA at some of the cards . So funny. Who things of this stuff. 

Our next stop Imaging in Warren. Lots of fun gifts. Our Boys called Salinger about dinner plans sińce we usually walk on MONDAY night and end up at Hometown for dinner. Not tonight! Cold, Wet, its raining and we are tired. 

Left overs tonight and sleep. 4:30 am comes quick!
