DAY 72: MONDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2019: TIME WITH DAD

Up at 4:30 and at the gym at 5:00. After a run, Ali taught a total body workout class with heavy weights. Perfect to start the day.

I decided to go to early am mass. So many friends are ill with life threatening things. We all need the prayers and there is only one Being who can help. I am so grateful.

Today I take dad grocery shopping but before going, I had time to prepare the pistachio dessert for Jane’s house on Christmas. For Judy‘s I’m making hot chocolate pie.
For Michelle’s, something healthy like fruit salad. Christmas is in 2 days.

Dad was great shooing. At 92 he still gets around and wants to shop. When I got to their house, mom was cooking the sausage for her famous stuffing. At 90, she still has her favorite dishes to make. We are fortunate to have them both. At the store we saw the daughter in law of dad‘s former boss. The recognized each other. It’s great for dad to see people from his past.

Dad‘s favorite part of shopping is breakfast afterwards. We went to Lauren’s for his favorite.

After leaving them it was time to put cookie trays together. I can’t wait until they are all out of the house!

Chan texted a great photo of JOSEPH at the park playing Walky Talkies with his friends. He is getting so tall, handsome and grown up.

Emily Sent an adorable photo of Stella with Mini Mouse sunglasses on. She is a real little Diva.

STELLA LOVES THOSE LITTLE HALO ORANGES. THAT LITTLE ONE CAN EAT 3 or 4 AT A TIME!

The day was beautiful, warm, sunny, and 60 degrees. Perfect day, but certainly not CHRISTMAS weather. I’ll take it though since I just washed my car and don’t want snow.

SOON WE WILL BE BACK ABOARD AND I’LL MISS ALL THIS FAMILY TIME

Such a wonderful time to enjoy family and celebrate Christmas. My nephew and his girlfriend attended an event. What a handsome beautiful couple.

MARISSA AND MATT

Two younger Missouri nephews celebrate at a school dance:

NICK AND MARCUS
AND THEN THERE IS JAMESON WHO CELEBRATED BY TEARING APART HIS NEW TOY
I thinks it’s creepy since you can still see the toy‘s eyes.  He usually loves his stuff.

I organized all the packages and where they were to go, then found a cluster I forgot to give Jane V. I must have bought them in Fl since I don’t have that wrapping paper here. But, Lol, I have no idea what is in those boxes.

At 5:30 Jane picked me up on her way from work. We met Judy and walked 3 Miles around town befor meeting the boys at Homrtown. The calzones we had were huge. More than half came home to be frozen for another day.

Another great day of family and friends.
