DAY 68: THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2019: DINNER WITH BYC FRIENDS

A 5:00 Run, and a rowing weight class with JUDY..

I made a  huge salad and garlic bread for our Byc dinner tonight at Carol and Gerry‘s. All ready to go, I headed back to the gym for an urban rebounding class with Sherri. Great class, very aerobic!

On the way home I spoke with SHIRLEY. We miss her.

At 2, the girls will play Maj Jong. We haven’t played together since the summer.
Always fun and relaxing with this group.

Lasagne, salad, garlic bread, hors d‘hoerves, cookies, and gingerbread cake and wine produced an amazing dinner for this crew who has been together for so many years. They are truly a support group, friends you want for life, always there to share and celebrate each minute together.

After this potluck, I think we have created a new tradition, we held a Yankee Swap. The highlight gift, one that caused the most fun exchange was a framed photograph by Katie G. A beautiful photo of Montauk Lighthouse.
Tom ended up with, don’t laugh, a survival kit all packed in an LLBean water bottle. The kit included: bandaids, a rain slicker, flashlight, a line of twine, a small knife, silver tape, and more. Hope we never need it but it will help survive should the Rv get stuck. Lol. The water bottle is a good one.

Igor a Godiva candy package. All good. More than the gifts, thesharing and exchanging was the most fun. I made eac person an ornament wither their photo on it from the Commodores Ball. Memories of great times.

Isn’t this true. This is something to reflect on.
