DAY 145: Tuesday, MARCH 3, 2020: TIME TO MOVE ON TO SUNSHINE RV RESOrt IN LAKE PLACID, FLORIDA

At 6:15 our alarm went off and we hit the snooze button, only once. I still felt awful. My arm is swollen and looks like I have been working out more and created a huge defined muscle. My whole body feels like I have the flu. Scary with the Corona virus spreading. Fortunately or unfortunately, it is the result of having the Shingles Shot yesterday. Last night at dinner it was like I hit the wall. I couldn't even think. It was only a shot. Other people are so ill snd I cant even tolerate a shot. Everything hurt. This morning I took another Aleve as the CVS  nurse who gave me the shot suggested.. Feeling better now. Not as nauseous, atm hurts less , and fever has gone down. So weird! Im glad Im done with thar series of shots.

Linda texted when we were leaving this morning. She and Carl walked over to say goodbye. Pam, Sylvia, Blanche, and Cairne were heading to Step aerobics and stopped by.

LAST PHOTO AT OUR SITE

LINDA AND CARL TO SAY: GOODBYE. NEXT YEAR THEY ARRIVE IN OCTOBER; we arrive in November

IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS LOVELY LADY, WE. WOULDNT BE AT OUTDOOR RESORTS

CARL ALSO CONVINCED US WE SHOULD BE HERE

LEAVING THE KEYS

ONE HAPPY CAMPER DRIVER

The ride from Outdoor was easy for me. I chatted with Joan , Mom, and Michael. Mom wanted a copy of the poem we read at her 90th birthday. The poem fit the bill for our praise of mom. I mailed her a copy. Traffic on Rt 27 was easy. we arrived at Sunshine resort at 12:45. The park hosts helped us to our site. We had to disconnect but oh well. We called Michael's Uncle Charlie to have dinner with us, but he has an ill friend who wanted to try  to play golf today. We told him to call if things changed.

The park is beautiful but we are here for only one day. I'll be able to run tomorrow. I also heard this park has a fitness center so I will check that out.

The area around the office smells luscious!! Sweet scented. We are surrounded by orange groves. So fragrant!

Sorry to bring  this up ...... again, but, I called Cornerstone again. Guess no one wants to talk to me. Our claim was denied. The ignorant 'Reliable Bill' told them we were hit by lightning. We weren't so they won't pay. We know that he burned the wires because he can't see and reversed wires. How does one prove that? One minute we were eating breakfast and drying clothes. The next minute the drier just stopped and wouldn't restart. We ordered another one from General RV today. We are getting it at cost. Yeah!! I'll start writing poison pen letters soon.

BROKEN DRYER UGH, DOUBLE UGH!

I called Cornerstone again. Cade closed. They will, pay for nothing. For the waterpump, they said they paid $1.38 after our §200 deductible. Too funny. We never got it. I guess if I did I could buy a coffee at Cumberland Farms.

I walked around the camp grounds. What beautiful orange trees! No wonder we can smell the sweetness. So fragrant.

Id love to pick one, but I will  wait to ask. Im sure they are like the forbidden fruit! Lol

The park had a comedian tonight. He was hysterical! What a fast hour!!
