DAY 167: THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2020: WHAT WILL TODAY BRING

It was an early morning run: breezy and warm but not hot yet. I passed this flag fir Policemen and Firefighters.

THIS ONE WAS BOUGHT

TOM MADE THIS ONE YESTERDAY

Good job, Tom. He is into his projects. I would have many for him if we were home.
We do have such a beautiful view. If only i could go into that lake with my paddleboard. I am sure the alligators would love to take a bite out of it.

KIDS BOOKS I HAVE WITH ME

Now the kids can tell me which books they want me to read. I need to get more!

I texted with Chan and left a phone message for Michelle. Waiting to say hello. We miss all everyone.

I am working on things for a  dinner party: Someday: and sharing them with Grace.

SO CUTE AND EASY: EASIER THAN THE PENGUINS

To keep busy today I washed the comforter. It is so heavy, it took a while. Then I decided to do another load of laundry. Usually these things are just tedious jobs that are not hard, just take time. Today is was a welcomed task. I got extra steps walking back and forth to the laundry so a double reason to do the wash.

A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE AT MM 66 LONG KEY, OUTDOOR RESORTS

Thanks, Frank for sending us FB info on Long Key MM 66. We may all keep connected this way.

After a yummy dinner, grilled chicken and broccoli with parmesan sauce we went for a very long bike ride.
I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD USE MY GRILL PAN SO MUCH

After dinner and a chat with Joan, we headed out on bikes not knowing where we were going or where we would end up. We came upon a wildlife preserve we didnt know was there. All the entrances were blocked and signs said they were closed due to the virus.

TERA CERA PRESERVE STATE PARK

THE PATHWAY, BUT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FOLLOW THE TRAILS

EVEN THIS IS CLOSED

A GREAT KAYAK ROUTE, BUT NOT NOW. SO SAD
I AM HAPPY WE CAN AT LEAST RIDE BY TO SEE IT ALL.

WE RODE BY A HORSE FARM. WHAT BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS

The day began quietly and ended with a wonderful ride on a quiet road in the bayou, the swamp.
I told Tom it reminded me of the Great Dismal Swamp in Virginia.
