Day 159: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2020: THE CORONA VIRUS CONTINUES TO RAISE HAVOCK AND PEOPLE ARE TRYING THEIR BEST TO COPE

At 6:30 I woke up to go for a run outside. It was pitch black but cool. With the fitness center closed and the pool possibly closing today, people will go crazy bored. Im glad Im at the pool now and saving my crafts for tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow. We canceled our Texas reservation and will be stayng here until April 22. At least the weather is beautiful and it's peaceful here.

THE FLOWERS ARE ALL FRESH AND IN BLOOM
p
THE BIRDS ARE HAPPY AND NOT AFRAID OF PEOPLE

THE DOCK HAS A GREAT VIEW BUT NO PADDLEBOARDS OR KAYAKS YET

After breakfast I took advantage of the empty laundry room. The machines are so big and so clean. There is a designated washer/ dryer for pet items. Very smart!

Tom and I went through our upcoming plans and connected with Chan, Michelle, and Michael. We will be staying at The Tides until the end of April then decide what to do. We have been feeling great but dont want to pick up anything along the way and pass it on.

I texted with Joan and Geri. They are still doing well in paradise. I forwarded the emails from Fantasy RV to Guy, Jann and Bill, and Debra to be sure they had received them. Jann had not. Our trip has not yet been canceled but others coming up have been.

Texting and FaceBook with Debbie L wishing we had been able to get togther here. They are so close yet so far with the virus keeping people separated. Hopefully in the summer or fall we can spend time together.

Roland and Janet made it home safely. Yeah!

Sharon said Paul is working from home as are our most of our kids on days they can. It is amazing how corporations can make things happen when they have to.

Out of necessity, new ways are born: As Plato said: "Necessity is the Mother of Invention". It is funny how these sayings pop into my head and I can remember who said them.

I texted with Judy and Jane. Our 426 gym has cut down their hours even more so my sisters are working out in Judy's basement gym. Great idea. I would be there with them . If we didn't exercise, we might lose our minds.
Lol.

Well, as expected, they closed the pool. I went to the office to talk to Alison. She said town inspectors rode through last night and there were too many people=15 in there. So, we had a long chat. I said there are 2 pools here. Open the other one then 10 in one 10 in other. Put a sign asking people to adhere to the max number or the  pool  will be closed. Let people be adults with Common Sense, or not. I told Alison to ask her boss if they could at least try it. Believe me, there may have been 15, but the pool is so big, no one is close to anyone  but  a spouse.

You certainly don't want the natives to be restless.

While at the office, I saw Lindsey's front license plate. I knew I liked that girl:

LOL AND SHE IS FROM INDIANA. WE HAD A LONG TALK ABOUT BRADY AND GISELLE WHO HAVE A HOUSE IN MIAMI AND HE MAY BECOME A TAMPA BAY BUCCANEER. UGH!
I will still be a Patriots Fan.

LEO WORKING ON SCHOOL WORK (WARMS HIS GRANDMOTHERS AS TEACHERS HEARTS)
I was glad to see he put together the rocket and firetruck we sent too.

STELLA IS "REPAIRING THE WALL". LOL. SHE LIKE LEO LOVES TOOLS ( BUT THE WALL) ?
OOPS!!!
Where do I go from here....

"THIRD SISTER " , JANE HAS THE RIGHT IDEA...A WALK IN COLT STATE PARK

After dinner, Tom and I went for a walk. Dinner was grilled andoullie sausage with huge grilled brussel sprouts . Delicious.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS WERE ALMOST AS LARGE AS THE AVACADOES: PERFECT FOR GRILLING

GRILLED ANDOULLIE SAUSAGE WITH GIANT BRUSSELS AND BACON= YUM

Dinner was followed by a walk through the park, checking out the other RVs and a walk on the dock along the waterfront.
