Day 154: Thursday, March 12, 2020: In Tampa/ Dover General Rv to repair head.

We awoke at 7:45 to prepare for our 8:30 departure to the service center and hopefully have our Vacuflush repaired in one day.
By 9:00 we were at I Hop. our intention was to go to The  Brockhouse (Cafe) for breakfast. It sounded interesting. When we arrived there was no such place. I guess it closed. A Mexican Restaurant is "coming soon". IHop was good, though .

I texted Michelle.Because of the virus, some school events have been canceled. Muriel did get to see the play Rosie Revere the Engineer in New Bedford, yesterday, with her class  though. We bought her that book years ago. It shows girls can be what they want to be in a fun humorous way. Rosie became Rosie the Riviter when she grew up. What an amazing woman!  I would have loved to see Muriel's excited face!

I watched part of the performance on You tube. Then I listened to the book being read aloud. I sent the site to Todd, Em, and Michelle but not sure they went through. What a find!

Monique from General saw us and came to chat. One of these days we will get to see her away from here.

We called Todd and Em..They are supposed to take the kids to Sesame St Live, their birthday present from us. That event may also be canceled due to the virus. So many big things have been canceled including the rest of the NBA Season. Life has changed for the whole world. So sad. Everyone needs to work together to stay positive and do the best they can to avoid it.

The service department. We haven't seen Robert yet.

Most of our day was spent at General but by 5:00, the pump was repaired temporarily and my new dryer was installed. Yeah! We return to General on the 23rd, and a new pump will be installed.

We returned to Tides by 6 and we settled b sck in. By 9:30 pm , I had everything back in its place . Everything takes so long.

i had a quick chat with Joan snd a longer one with Emily. Butch checked in. Mucharl and Judy checked in with us.

Although everything is not totally 100% , at least things are in progress. Ill be using tha dryer a lot between now and the 23rd to be sure it works well.

Our big question is, what is going to happen with this virus and our trip to Alaska in June.

We have been in contact with Chan and Michelle, checking in with the family. Miss everyone!
