DAY 160: THURSDAY, MARCH 19, 2020: ST JOSEPHS DAY: FIRST DAY OF SPRING

At 6:40 I got up to run. if I dobt getnoyt now, it is too hot latet for anything other than a walk or bike ride.
It felt  good to be out there. It was still dark. Sunrise wasn't until 7:40.

After a shower , I make an omellette with the left over brussels and andoullie from last night. It was good.

OMELLETTE, ADD A WRAP, AND FRESH FLORIDA STRAWBERRIES AND BREAKFAST IS BORN

We talked with Michael . All is as well as it can be at home.

I called Linda to see how she was doing and celebrate our former students who made the Deans List for RWU. I enjoy connecting with these students to let them know how proud we are of them. I wish Linda coukd be with us here. I would have someone to do shell crafts with.

I called Kathy to be sure she and Guy heard from Fantasy RV. Jann and Bill canceled their RV storage for the month of May since they are now heading to NC. Hopefully , we will be able to meet up with them to head west if our plans may be carried out.

TOM IS CHILLING WITH A CROSSWORD PUZZLE, A CIGAR, HIS CHAPEAU, AND THE TV

I will stay here and enjoy the weather. For me, it is time for a bike ride and to mail some letters. I saw a flock of birds feasting in the huge pond. They would dive down, catch a fish then bring it up wiggle it down their throat and it was gone. Don't these fish know that this pond is Catch and Release? Oh yes, they cannot read.

I asked about the equipment for Shuffleboard. No one can play yet. Supposedly, it is in the construction zone. I really wanted to play.
oh, well! The Pickle Ball Court is open but I don't have a paddle or ball or someone to play with.

THE ILLITERATE BIRDS

After a bike I worked on Easter cards for our kids and grandkids. Then I began a few art projects with shells, of course. I washed snd bleached all the oyster shells from our lunch with Marg and Bob. I don't know where the day went, but before I knew it , Time For Dinner. Of course, we could smell the pulled pork all day as it simmered in the crockpot.

SHELL WALL HANGING

THIS STREET REMINDS US OF THE MERMAID AND OUR MANY TRIPS ABOARD HER

After dinner we went on a bike ride through the Fisherman Bay RV resort, The Country Lakes Village, and a third park, Palm View, I think.
It was fun just bike riding through other areas looking at homes. As we returned to Tides, we met a couple from Atlanta whose son is the pitcher for one of the baseball  teams practicing in the area. They left for Wilderness to come here, then, after 2 days his games were canceled. Not a surprise.
They had a cute French Bulldog named Minnie.

We met a woman walking a Cairn Terrior who was actually well behaved. His name is Wally. She said when he was younger he was more stubborn and had a mind of his own. She had to become the Alpha.

Another day, filled, somehow.
