After a great workout in the fitness center, brrrrr outside, and a long hot shower, Tom and I had a quick cereal breakfast. He started washing the RV to finish bow and stern.
Janet, a friend from the time I was 12, called tosay hello from Albuquerque, NM. When we met, her family lived in Darien, Connecticut, and was vacationing at Weirs Beach, NH, the same family cabin resort we were in. We were instantly friends. she had 3 brother: one my age, one Butch's age and one the twins age. We didn't need any other entertainment. Our parents became friends. After that our families traveled back and forth from RI to Connecticut spending weekends and holidays together. Her parents have since passed away. Amazing people. Her parents took us to NY over one Thanksgiving College break to see the Rockettes at Rockerfeller Center. She spent many summer days with me in RI. The craziest visit was the time we left for Newport Beach early one foggy, cool summer morning, creamed on sunscreen and lay on towels freezing. There was no parking tompay for. No one else showed up, not even employees. Ha! Before noon we left and decided to gonto Narragansett Brewery for a tour and free beer. We were just 21 years old. We had lots of crazy days like that.

Joan texted. Weather in the Keys to go South again, heavy winds, etc. Neither of us has heard from Meteorologist Chip. We each. spoke his wife. Then , we were connected once again with the updates . Yeah! We are now back on his active list of emails receivers.
Later we heard from Chip and updates began once again.
Chip and his wife, Laura, have added us to the list of those waiting for his heavy weather updates. Thank, you, Chip and Laura, amazing NOAA experts.

It was wonderful to see them and enjoy dinner together.
Tom and I worked on our trip from Alaska to Buffalo - West to East. Jann sent us the information on towns, campgrounds, and distances. She did the hard leg work. We just worked off of what she had- a big help to us. 10 pm and we were still working on the journey.Yikes! And, Jann has done the hard work.
