DAY 10: THURSDAY, JANUARY 7, 2021: WHAT VACCINE.

Running was good again this morning. I wondered how I would feel after the vaccine. Pain, fever? Nothing. Even the shot itself must have been a very small needle because I hardly felt it. I think the staff gave me to Dr. Mondero for the shot when the heard I am a shot Woose. I hate them. He talked the whole time , and I was done. I am sure taking an Aleve 2 hours before and another one 10 hours later since Aleves last for 12 hours. Whatever, I will take it. Now I have  to hope the second Moderna shot is just as easy. My temp this morning was 98.5. All Good! Tom' s was 98.4. If it wasn't for the bandaid, I would not think I had one. Done, for now!

I was happy to join in with Sherry 's Rebounding Class today at 9 am. Tom went to the Stretch and Relax class with bands and torture bands with Sylvia. I'm glad he is
starting a routine.

AN AMERICAN PRINCESS IN AN AMERICAN PRINCESS DRESS 👗

I put dinner in the crockpot. Tonight Pulled Pork and I will use the new pulled pork forks Jane gave me for Christmas.

So, I just opened my hanging locker and shoe shelf. Very sad! All my clothes are like 👍 new. Some dresses I have worn once (not this year). Some were worn a few times or not at all. Ha! I could be all dressed up and no where to go. My shoes, my many sandals 🩴 not worn either! Ver sad! I have a whole wardrobe that I love, dresses that are comfortable and functional but no where to wear them. My most used pieces of clothing are my exercise clothes and socks!  I wash 🧽 some  of them daily, yet other clothes simply hang organized in a closet dry, clean  and ready to go! But, where ? No answer to that unless I dress up to go shopping! Silly! silly 😜. I may do it just to say I wore them.

Tom is preparing to repair the area of the coach near the steps that was 😟 pulled away when the front passenger tire hit the rubber from a truck's retread tire when we arrived in November. Once the repair man visited and repositioned the fiberglass he showed Tom how to fix the area so it won't rust. Tom is good at this stuff! He takes his time to make it perfect.

So , the door being out of commission for a bit, I decided to make star fruit 🍌 jam. Even though I am enjoying the smoothies every day, I want to try this. Tom bought some really nice jars for me.

Here are some star fruit thanks to Claudia. My first experience making jam out of them. My smoothies have been great!

HUGE STAR FRUIT

Jam came out well—! I only made half batch because I am running out of Star fruit! And, I love my morning smoothies!

Today was a creative day. I also made these wall hangings for friends in Bristol: 02809

Thanks to my sister Jane I now have the correct forks to separate pulled pork.

THEY LOOK LIKE WEAPONS OF TORTURE

By the way, the pulled pork with mushrooms was delicious over spaghetti. Oops, no photo.

Lots of texting today and talking to friends and family.

A REMINDER OF MY LAST FRIDAY MORNING WALK WITH MY SISTERS

THE SHELL SOLAR LIGHT FROM JUDY: PERFECT NEAR OUR THIN BLUE FLAG

We went for a bike ride before dinner. This sign was at Sylvia and Ken's condo. Perfect!

A PELICAN MEETING

Michelle texted to check on us after the vaccine. All good! we can't even tell we had it. V Safe also texted . We filled out a form to show how we felt. Great.

Deb called and we talked a long time. Wish she could visit. We are hoping Claudia will visit soon also.
I have been busy with crafts. What will I run out of first, time, ideas or supplies? It is a toss up!
