DAY 11: FRIDAY, JANUARY 8, 2021: ZUMBA DAY

6:30 this morning was a perfect time to run. It was cool, cloudy, and cool. The run around the park was good. At 9, Sylvia taught Zumba then a toning class. The sun was barely out from the clouds. The rain only lasted 10 min at 8:15 so the temp, once again, was conducive to being on the basketball court. A few more people joined in on the shuffleboard court so the space between everyone was over 10 feet apart. Thank you, Sylvia.

THIS LADY HAS INCREDIBLE ENERGY

My sister posted this photo of us going out before Tom and I left for Florida. We have so many special memories of many dinners and gathers , workouts together, and uncountable walks.

We heard from Claudia who is hoping to visit tomorrow or Sunday. We went grocery shopping. I want to make my own pasta sauce and a full Italian dinner for them.
I made meatballs, grilled chicken, and grilled sausage as the sauce simmered.  The longer it simmers, the better the sauce is.

By 5, all was ready. Tom and I went for a bike ride over the Long Key Bridge.

COOKIES I MADE

We next rode around the park and checked out the horseshoe court as well as the other areas of games. We stopped at each of the resorts beaches. We hope to do things with Claudia, Burt, and Aidan, but it may be cold. We are making a list of things a 14 year old may 👍 like, or not if it isn't a video game.

THANKS,  RICK, FOR THIS CARTOON. YOU ALWAYS KEEP US ENTERTAINED

I texted with Stephanie and Sharon. Everyone is looking forward to living in Florida for 6 plus months in the next few years. I'm happy we can text and chat.
I had to remind myself to send Shirley my cinnamon roll recipe. I keep forgetting.

THINK THIS MIGHT WORK?

I chatted with Joan and texted with Geri.
Muriel sent me a message that she received our card congratulating her on a super report card.

OUR GIRL

We sent our 5 other school age grade kids notes also. The deserve the recognition. We are so proud of them all!
