DAYS DAY 5-7: SATURDAY, JANUARY 2-MONDAY, JANUARY 4, 2021

I was happy to go for an early run followed by Jessica's Kettlebell workout and cardio saved on my virtual 426 account. I've do e that one more than once and really like it! It was quiet for me, Tom was still sleeping.

We spent all day Satuday trying to unpack the car, boxes, bags, treasures from home which just made us think of home, our kids, and grandkids all the more. We had photos and FB photos, picture they sent and so  much more. I added the grandkids photos to my refrig display and hung Muriel's sewn anchor to the Muriel wall.

I HAVE SOME GREAT PHOTOS OF THE KIDS WHICH I WANT TO HAVE PRINTED OUT.

To be continued...

It is Tuesday. I am back trying to catch up!

Saturday came and went so quickly that I was t able to finish everything.. Of course not! i always plan tooooo much.
I have to keep looking at this placque Emily gave me.

Lol, I just plan too much in my head.
At 6pm , dinner was ready. A deliciou and perfectly grilled rib eye steak with a baked spaghetti squash baked with butter and mozzerella cheese. I was just about to serve it outside when Tom opened the door and said he invited the neighbors to sit, at a distance, 10 feet away. Ahhh. He never lets me know! I excused  myself and had to shut off the grill and oven.
Needless to say, I don't mind talking to neighbors, but....  They stayed nearly an hour. Then, We had dinner. It was okay but not perfect as it was an hour earlier! Ugh!

Rodmey and Yanet stopped by with Rashel and Evelyn. We gave the girls their Christmas gifts and watched them have fun opening them.

On Sunday morning, I went for another early morning run. It was beautiful! Dry, breezy, and overcast just enough. I think I could have kept going.
Then on my FB account, Father Zinno announced he was on with FB live mass. Perfect. I ran to the Tiki hut on the island at the resort and watched Sunday Mass of the Epiphany. It was so peaceful. The choir played. Father Stephen was celebrating mass..
This was my view:

VIEW OF THE GULF OF MEXICO FROM THE TIKI HUT AT LONG KEY , OUTDOOR RESORT

When we had the boat, we sailed by here to travel to Marathon Yacht Club. Now, we walk out to the hut and view it.

After a peaceful respite here, I returned to the RV to make breakfast. Tom has been having egg wraps ( he wants me to help him lose weight). I have been having delicious smoothies made with the sweet Star Fruits from Claudia's garden. I am worried I will run out of them.

THESE ARE SO SWEET, RICH IN VITAMIN C, AND VERY LOW IN CALORIES

RICK AND CAROLYN ARE GREAT FRIENDS. HE NEVER FORGETS US AND OFTEN SENDS US THOUGHT PROVOKING CARTOONS.
THIS ONE WE SHARED WITH TODD. LOL!

I spent the day cleaning cupboards and closets. I think they are finally done for now , and everything has found its place, for now...

I did some crafts as I watched the Buffalo Bills trounce , yes, trounce, the Miami Dolphins, who actually didnt seem to even show up to play.  I told Em the Bills needed Brady gone and the Patriots to stumble for the Bills to shine. We are happy for the Bills.

TODD SENT US PHOTO OF LEO, STELLA, MARGOT, AND CHARLIE SKIING. THE LITTLE  BIG GUY AT 5 YEARS OLD, A 3 YEAR SKIING
VETERAN LEADS THE WAY.

MY SUNDAY PROJECT: MAKING ORNAMENTS

I think the travel and the desire to get everything organized finally hit us. We went to sleep early. Felt so good.

On Monday, I had an early great run. At 9 am, Sylvia did a super Zumba class on the basketball court. There were 7 people, safely distanced and a great cool breeze.
That class was followed by a toning class. Everyone , 7 people, had their own torture bands, as Sylvia calls them, resistance bands, and mats. Everyone wants to stay healthy so are  willing to  do whatever it takes to be able to attend the classes.

The afternoon was spent texting and connecting with Sharon and Stephanie. We wanted to connect with them to share the activities they have been doing.
I rode to the post office to collect our mail.
Another Christmas gift from Tom arrived: a birth stone bracelet of our 8 plus 1 grandchildren ( baby  girl to be born in February).

SO PRETTY: AMAZING TO HAVE 9 GRANDCHILDREN
