DAY 23: THURSDAY, JANUARY 21, 2021: LEARNING SOMETHING NEW.

I ran at 7. The air was a little heavier so it was a bit harder.  At 9, I did Sherry 's 9:00 Urban Rebounding class. So strange, no one was IN class. Nancy and I did it Virtually. We had Sherry with just us. So weird. 

At 10 I went to the tennis court where I was to meet Sandy. Jim let me borrow a raquette. We played for 2 hours. It is a lot like 👍 tennis on a smaller court. The ball, though, is a wiffle ball. So, the wind takes it pretty easily. I was hoping to not like it! Ha! That did not happen.  On the way home, I called Tom who was at the chiropractor and asked him to stop at K Mart to see if they had one. I know, KMart. It is probably one of the few still in the country. 

It is the only store in town to buy just about anything. Remember the House of a Million Items in Warren? 

Well, this is it. It is the place every one goes for any thing other than groceries. But, they have some of those too. 

JUST WHAT I NEED: ANOTHER ACTIVITY TO LIKE

HA! I get the playing. The scoring and calling the score and server is still a bit of a mystery to me. I asked about the beginning learning class. The 8 people there looked at me. NO they said in unison. Learn to play by playing with us was unanimous. The Class Instructor  talks  SOOO... much you won't play as much. Better to learn by playing. I ended up playing 5 games. Now what do I do tomorrow : Play Pickleball or do a toning class with Sylvia??? Décision ? Decisions?

I broke down and sent for a Pickleball set from Amazon. You knew I would.  

I stopped at the Post Office. The package Michael sent from Emily and Todd arrived today. Only took almost 2 months. Worth the wait.

It already has a special place on Leo's wall.

I bought tickets for the Flamingle on Tuesday. Pulled pork, etc should be very good. 

Texted with Sharon and Steph today. The homes Sharon is looking at are beautiful ☺️ !
