DAY 22: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2019: A DAY FOR CHURCH FOOTBALL AND FRIENDS

It was daylight savings time so 7:30 was really 6:30 so of course, I woke up! The temp was brutal outside so I chose weights today. Tomorrow I’ll have to get up before sunrise and hope for temperatures of 70 not 80.  After a shower I left for 10:00 mass at San Pablo‘S. I was pleasantly surprised at the sermon and the music. Father Luiz Perez is new, and I was happy to meet him. I thanked him and he said it was his pleasure to serve the people here. He appears humble and caring. The music was all new: beautiful and upbeat. There were many young families there.

I picked up a few things after mass and returned to make pancakes. I have to remember to take a photo but I think we were too hungry and I forgot.

Tom started working on installing the magnetic window covers we bought. Of course, one gave us a hard time so it means a call to the company tomorrow. Always something.

I texted with GERI and Joan. The gang will be together for lunch tomorrow! Yeah! Tom and I also have to sign up for mail service at UPS. More texts between Jane, JUDY, and Jane V made my day.

GERI and I planned to sign up for the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning.

Tom worked on my license plate to add the FOP medalian.

Lots of work done today!

Our table in the palms is ready as is our second table:

OUR TABLE IS SET WITH A TURTLE MOTIF. LINDA AND CARL STOPPED BY AND STAYED FOR DINNER: BURGERS IN PARADISE
They stayed to watch the Patriots play the Ravens. When they left, the Pats were losing. Let’s hope that changes....soon!

TOM RESTING AFTER WORKING....
A busy afternoon of unexpected guests, but it was great to have visitors. Two People from Site 103 stopped by to see a new Holiday Rambler Navigator. They thought it was smaller than the Navigator used to be. We wouldn’t know but we are happy it isn’t bigger. Susan was the Woman.

Yenet and Rodmey, owners of our lot stopped by to bring us a beautiful yellow orchid and a bottle of red wine. How nice was that? They are so kind. We hope to see them often. Their children are adorable. They offered us the site next season if we are interested. So far, we are interested. He has done a wonderful job to make the site welcoming. Now with our new umbrella, we have plenty of places to entertain.

TOM SET UP OUR FLAG ALONG WITH THE TURTLE, OUR LIGHT, AND THE HOME SIGN FROM THE SULLIVANS

This is now our home until March.
It has been quite the day! ( We hope the Patriots can turn this game around...ugh).
