DAY 28: SATURDAY. NOVEMBER 9, 2019: DAY AT SEA TO CARTEGINA

Up at 6:30 for a run. It was extremely rocky and Rollie. Running on the treadmill was such a weird sensation. Felt like I was rocking and rolling with the ship as it felt the treadmill  was doing the same. So weird.
We we to breakfast on the top deck and listened to a talk about gems and watches. Carolyn and i collected two more charms then painted a sign for the Panama Canal .

THE GOAL IS TO HANG THE SIGN OVER AS YOU GO THROUGH THE CANAL AND PHOTOS ARE TAKEN

Next , we listened to an amusing talk about the Costa Rican rain forest and hw it’s name means Rich Coast.
The talk was amusing and informative at the same time.

AFTER LUNCH at The Grille on DECK, THE BOYS PAUSED FOR A PHOTO.
Resting and reading by the sea was our afternoon. The view was simply:

ROUGH, AND BLUE, AND BRIGHT SUN

AS I WAS TAKING THE PHOTO OF THE GUYS READING, CAROLYN WAS CHECKING TO BE SURE NO ONE COUKD SEE UP TOM‘S SHORTS

Yes, is quite the laugh a minute cruise!

I WANT TO BRING THIS HOME FOR JANE V’S YOGA CLASSES

We attended a talk on Cartegena by Chad. He was all alone with 150 people. He looked perplexed trying to figure out how he was going to speak and hand out flyers/ maps. I said I would do it. He said I can’t ask you to do that. I said, you aren’t asking, I’m offering. Lol. Carolyn and I liked this kid from the moment we met him. Always eye contact like when he was speaking to you, you are the only one he is listening to. Very personable. Helping him was a pleasure. Lol— except when people starting asking me questions about the Cartegena excursions. How would I know? Too funny. I didn’t hear him thank me but everyone applauded and Thanks, Peggie.
He has been extra attention to us on this trip.

After a great dinner and an Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. We went into the theater (at the bow) rocking and rolling to view the leader singer’s show. She was amazing.

The smoothest bottle we have had yet.  Rick, Tom, and I are tasting all the different Cabernets. Well , not all.
