DAY 23: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2019: LUNCH WITH THE CREW

TODAY I was out and running by 6:45 am. I knew it would be the coolest part of the day. The sun was not yet up when I left. Running in the park was easy and flat. Chan and Michelle texted as I ran. I sent these photos o my beautiful view:

THE  JACCUZZI

THE POOL: IT‘S HUGE AND WELL PROTECTED WITH PALM TREES FOR SHADE.

It was great to connect with them and hear about the kids!

After a needed shower, Tom and I registered for a mailbox at the Long Key, Fl Mailbox. We are happy that is now done. We can get mail here without a hassle. The postmaster was very helpful and knowledgeable!
Now I went have to send boxes to the Weirs.

At noon, we went to Burdines with GERI, Bill, Gordon, and Joan. It was absolutely wonderful — friends together again and food that is always fabulous. It was a very long, leisurely lunch. No one was in any hurry to leave. To add to our amazing lunch, our waitress was Amalia, a dear waitress from My ! What a reunion! She told us about her cruise from Alaska to Japan. Sounds amazing!

THE CREW, AND I MEAN CREW!!

WHAT A CREW!!

MY VERY FAVORITE VIEW FROM 79 TINGLER LANE, MARATHON, GERI AND BILL‘S HOME

GERI ordered tickets for the Marathon Community Theater for November and January. We are really here.
Now sign up for the Duck Key Turkey Trot. I’ve already signed up for the Key West 5K in January.

Nothing could top our gathering today:It was the Highlight of the Day.

Tom and I did a few more errands, picking up little things for our cruise. Next was connecting with Carolyn and Rick for our Panama Cruise beginning Wednesday. I packed and was complaining to them how difficult it was. It would be easier to move the RV. Lol! We appreciate all they did to help us go prepare. Some of these websites aren’t easy to navigate. Today they assisted with parking near the port.

Darkness came early as did daybreak. I’m not so sure about this day light saving time.
