DAY 83: FRIDAY , JANUARY 3,2020: LAST LEG TO FLORIDA: PALM COAST RO LONG KEY

We were up at 5:30and at breakfast by 6:00. not that we are anxious or anything but we look forward t arrivin in Long Key this afternoon. Our GPS says we will arrive around 1:20 pm. 

So I typed for 20 minutes and the iPad froze. I lost everything. Why don’t I learn to save things more often? Ugh. I just get to involved and forget. 

Now what did I lose? Mm is still in the hospital. She has been there since Dec 13. As my college room mate we keep in close contact and see each other and text as much as possible. We call at least once a month. Not last month. Laura has kept me updated. Why can’t the doctors figure out what is making her ill?

GERI called about getting together whenever we are ready. That will be nice. Her Christmas Company left today. We are planning the the True Lies Girls, the TLC Girls visit in Feb. 

Linda connected to invite us to a meet and greet at 4:00 pm today. We appreciate that Julie, Carl, Linda, Joanne, and Don have accepted US. It will be nice to meet our neighbors.

We look forward to seeing Joan and Gordon. We picked up some treasures at their home for them. We text and talk a lot and send virtual hugs. It will feel good to give real ones, lol. 

We need to contact Jann and Bill about out Fantasy Tour to Alaska. That will be here before we know it.

WE STOPPED HERE. THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLACE EVER BUT WHEN YOU NEED IT AND MAKE YOUR WIFE HAPPY: YOU STOP

THE ANCHORAGE BY THE YACHT CLUB WAS BUSY

MICHAEL called and we talked a while. Nothing new at home. 

We listened to the news. So hard to do. The US used a drone to kill an Iranian General who was plotting against the US. This was last night. We know it had to be done to protect our embassy and our citizens in Iraq but  revenge can be ugly. 

Lots of prayers needed for the ill among us and our country. People need to do more of it. God Bless us and the USA. May he give our President the wisdom to do what is right for our country. Republicans and Dems need to work together. Can that ever happen. Some of them hate Pres Trump so much and for them he never does anything right. No one is wrong or right 100% of the time.

I wrote for 20 minutes and nothing posted. No more tonight. I tried. We had a great time with Linda and Varl who taught us steps in square dancing. A pot luck followed. A golf cart ride with Carl. Chatting for hours with Carl and Linda, then back to the Rv to set up the TVs.
