This may be short today. We slept late, yeah. I didn’t run, a more relaxed morning. I went to the post office, the Tom and I went to the bbq lunch at the rec center. So many people were there. Lots of great conversation and invitations to parties, dances and the Red Hat Society Tea.
I delivered a small gift by bike to site 236 for the tea. I was asked if I’d like to bring something to the tea. Yes! I will make mini chocolate fish and turtles. I already have a red dress. Joanne is going to set up a hat topper for me. Red ,of course, something for my straw hat.
Romney, Yanet, Rachel, and Evelyn stopped by. We were so happy to see them and gave them their Christmas presents. What a beautiful family.
Joan called to invite us to a cocktail hour on Sunday night. Yeah! That will be great. We have missed everyone.
GERI texted and may see us in KW tomorrow morning.
JEFF and Carol asked us to go to a concert with them MONDAY night in Marathon and invited us to bring the boat with them to Banana Bay. That depends on weather. I offered to drive their car around.
Mm is feeling a tiny bit better. Any progress is good. My sister in law is resting at home. Can’t wait until MM gets to go home. I had a long conversation with Ellen about our worst fears during this nightmare event. Linda too sounded great.

The afternoon flew by. Before I knew it , it was time to drive to San Pablo’s for mass.
I’ve been telling Todd how close the waterfront is to Route 1 Overseas Highway. Here it is.
Yanet told us that during the hurricane, water from across the street, came up as high as our neighbors deck. That is crazy high. The sand hills blocked the road. Very scary.
Early to bed tonight. Getting up at 3:30 am
