DAY 90: FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2020: THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF JOHN‘S PASSING

So many things remind us of John, especially on cruise ships. I texted Sharon . It’s so hard for her as it would be for any of us. 

At 6:30 I went for a run. The weather was cloudy.The drizzle began my last 8 minutes of running but not bad enough for me to stop.  At least it was cool and windy. Going out early is my best option. It gets to humid as the day goes on. 

After a shower, I headed to KCB to meet GERI for exercise class. It’s a great class with weights. We have been fortunate that I can have great workouts without going tongue gym 15 Miles away that Never has been a favorite, just convenient. I don’t think it has been really cleaned in 15 years. 

GERI invited us to dinner at MYC tonight’s . Will be great to be with her and Bill.

I returned to the resort where Reliable RV, Bill was there working on our pump which he replaced. The dryer needs a new switch. We called our Cornerstone RV insurance Company who will pay for some often repairs once our mechanic calls in the cost of the parts and the service.

TONIGHT GERI ASKED US TO GO TO MYC FOR DINNER: JOHNNY LIVE IS PLAYING 

At noon I went to the Libation Station for the Pavement Pounders at the upper rec room. I made MEXICAN meatballs with cilantro and taco seasoning. They came  out so good. There was none left. Lol. I guess they were good. We have fun hitting piñatas since it was a MEXICAN theme. Our team came in second. I hope I can remember all the names of the people I met. Debbie Salme walking to the hall and gave me a ride. Her husband is in charge of the Full Moon Party tomorrow so now I have the info on that. 

I JUST LOVE THESE LITTLE GUYS, THE MINION CHARACTERS NOT THE CALORIES . 

To mail the January Birthday cards, I went to the postoffice. I also bought a stamp to mail another Grape Leaf postcard. They are such fun to send.

I spoke to Mom. All well in RI. I texted with Joan. I took a bike ride through the park then the it began drizzling. 

Great dinner at MYC: chicken pot pie, meatloaf etc. it was a Sock Hop  Night so comfort food. Nice to be out with GERI and Bill. It’s been a while. We saw some friends from Myc. The crowd was small but everyone who did go had a good time.
