DAY 89: THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2020: WHAT WILL TODAY BRING

I was up at 6:30 to begin my day. The run was slow but I knew I was going to step aerobics after this so I guess I just slowed down.
The class was fun, 45 minutes of hopping and weights. Good deal. I realized the reason it is 45 minutes is because
there is a stretch/relaxation class after it at the Upper rec center. People have to get there. Tom did that class which uses mats only. Good for him!

I headed back to the RV to shower and wash/ dry more clothes. I can’t wait until our dryer is fixed but fortunately I have use of many dryers close by. The price is very reasonable also.

I continued to work on my projects.

I NEED MORE TILES TO MAKE MORE HOT PLATE TILES

GIFT FROM NEPHEW , MATT. NO ONE WANTS US TO FORGET WHERE HOME IS!!

So Tom just stuck his head in the door to say he was going to the mini mart at the resort. He is looking for some screws for a clothes hanger he is making for me to dry clothes on, the things, not thongs, I dry outside. Lol! Got to keep an eye on spell check.
This is what Tom looked like when he left.

LOL , DOES HE LOOK LIKE HE BELONGS HERE OR WHAT? I SAY, OR WHAT?

It’s been a great day chatting with family and friends from home. A long talk with Linda resulted in seeing the most adorable pictures and videos of Paddy!! Grandkids are the precious! Snuggling them is the best thing ever. I also found out that someone we taught is related‘ to someone here. I’m not surprised!

I talked to MICHAEL . He and JUDY took mom and dad to Hometown for dinner last night. Nice! We miss the WEDNESDAY family dinners.

Also spoke to Joan . We invited her to do laundry here, then we could talk while the machines are working.
We were supposed to head to the lagoon for a day aboard this weekend with Don and Joan but the weather is suppose to blow 20—25, too too windy from the wrong direction.

COASTERS AS PART OF A SET: 4 COASTERS WITH 2 HOT PLATES

Today We felt like having a steak. We thought of our friend, John, whose death was 1 year ago tomorrow. It is hard to believe a year has passed. This is a difficult time for Sharon and his family. He always had us laughing with his food terms:ˋ pitiful  pancakeś,ˋstinky  salmoń, etc. one of his favorite foods was steak. Here’s to Yo-Yo, John:

TODAY‘S DINNER, A T BONE STEAK
Only thing, we could not eat it as rare as he liked it. Rest In Peace, friend! You are in our thoughts. Your family is in our prayers.

Beautiful early morning sky on US1 Overseas Highway sent to us by Linda on her way to Miami. Lecture perfect!

MORNING SKY

I need to get more photos of sunsets.

Poor, Tom, taking apart the wooden framework around the washer /dryer so when Reliable Bill comes tomorrow to repair it, we hope.
1: Hope he can repair it 2: Hope he is reliable.
